Chapter Twenty-one

IN FRANCE...

Jamie went to Enny's room on campus to see her but found her roommate.

          “Hey, I'm Jamie. I'm looking for Enny.”

          “Oh, she left for Canada two days ago. I'll call her and tell her you are here. You know, she went to find you. It's kind of funny.” Enny's roommate picked up the phone and called Enny.

She told Enny that Jamie was here looking for her and asked what to tell him.

Enny said that she should give the phone to Jamie.

          “So you actually came looking for me. I thought you'll be mad at me for not listening to you.” Enny started on the phone.

          “Hey Enny. I knew you were mad. I understood. I need to tell you everything.” Jamie replied.

          “Hey Jamie. I'm sorry for not giving you a chance to explain to me. But now I get it all.” Enny said to Jamie.

          “You do? But you know I’m sorry and it didn’t mean anything right?” Jamie asked.

          “Yeah, I know that.” Enny replied with a bit of a giggle in her voice.

          “There’s a problem though.” Jamie started “I made a deal with my parents.”

          “What deal?” Enny asked.

“They always wanted me to go to school in Texas because it’s way cheaper there. I was certain I’ll find you here and I begged them too much so I have to go to Texas for my first year, at least of university.” Jamie explained.

“But Jamie, you didn’t have to.” Enny was a bit sad.

“I did. It was supposed to be worth it. It still is.” Jamie replied.

“Oh I’m sorry Jamie. I should have never even being mad in the first place.” Enny felt bad.

They were sad they would not be able to be in the same place anytime soon. Soon enough, Enny had to come back to France and get ready for university life.

Before the holiday was over, Sasha, Adam and Jamie plan to surprise Enny in France.

          “Enny!!!!” Sasha screamed.

          “Sash!!!” Enny screamed. “Jamie! Adam! Am so happy to see you guys.”

          “At least this time we get to see you.” Adam started.

          “Not like when you came to see Jamie and he went to see you in France.” Sasha added and laughed.

          “Guys!” Enny replied as her friends teased her.

Enny looked at Jamie and smiled and gave him a big hug.

          “I'm so glad to see you again!” he said still hugging her.

          “Me too!” Enny replied still hugging him.

          “Aww” Sasha smiled at Enny and Jamie hugging.

          “Shhhh, your'e spoiling the moment.” Adam whispered to Sasha and they laughed.

They hung out for the rest of the week in France and had to go back to Canada.

They said their good byes.

That was just for the mean time. They all knew that they will see again.

Meanwhile, Enny and Jamie still kept in contact with each other

“So you are actually staying in France?” Jamie asked over the phone.

          “I wish I didn't have to but I do. I can't cancel now to come back you know that right.” Enny replied.

          “I know that. But i just feel so sad. I miss you already.” Jamie replied.

          “I miss you too.” Enny smiled and continued “We'll talk later, I have to go back to class, we have the shortest breaks ever. See yah.”

          “Oh wow. See why you should have stayed back? Well I have to go to class too. Bye.” Jamie replied and smiled and hung up the phone after they said their long goodbyes.

Jamie was glad he and Enny still talked a lot as well but he knew that for the next one year, he and Enny couldn't have a good relationship because they aren't in the same place.

Enny knew the same thing too, she knew she couldn't stop her music school because she loved Jamie but they were still happy they had each other in their hearts, she still loved him and he still loved her.
