Once dinner was done. Jonah looked out the window once more and quickly grabbed his crutches and went back to his room. Marco looked at me funny.

"That was weird. All I did was ask him a question." Marco shrugged.

"Depends what did you ask him?" I said while washing the dishes.

"I asked if he was excited about your guys' mother coming back home." He explained. He leaned against the counter next to the sink.

I looked up at the clock. It was 7:55. My mother should have been back by now. I looked out the window. It was completely dark.

"I don't know, something seems fishy."

He walked over to the window and saw it was dark.

"Shoot, Its gonna be dangerous if I walk out there now., there's been a bunch of cougar attacks lately..."

"You can stay the night if you want." I shrugged.

I wouldn't ever admit it, but I wanted him to stay the night. I've never had a sleepover, let alone a friend to have one with.

He smiled at me.

"Ok, I'll just tell my friends, I don't want them to worry." He grabbed his walkie-talkie of his back pocket.

I walked away while he talked to his friends and went to my brothers room. I knocked on the door but there was no answer. I creaked opened up the door to find my brother laying on his bed crying.

I walked over to him and sat down on his bed.

"Hey, whats wrong?"

"Mom should have been back by now!" He yelled.

I sighed. He was right. She should have been back  now.

Where are you, mom?

I rubbed his back while he cried into his pillow.

"I know buddy, but maybe it just got to dark to keep traveling so she stopped and spent the night somewhere." I reassured him.

Just then Marco walked into the room. He sat down on the bed next to me.

"Jonah, I'm sure your mom is going to be back by tomorrow."

Jonah turned his head around and looked at us.

"Are you guys sure?" He sniffled.

"Yes we're sure." I promised.

Jonah smiled and hugged Marco and I.

"I know what will make you feel better." I smirked.

"What?" Curiosity glistened in his blue eyes.

"Ice cream!" I yelled.

 Jonah squealed.

"I scream for Ice cream, you scream for Ice cream, we all scream for Ice cream!" Jonah sung.

Marco and I busted up laughing. Jonah quickly grabbed his crutches and went to the kitchen.

"So, where did you get Ice cream from?" Marco questioned.

"Secret recipe." I smirked.

He smiled and nodded his head before he went and sat down next to my brother.

I pulled out the frozen mush and put it in the blender and turned it on. After about 30 seconds, the mush was turned into purple ice cream.

I took out three bowls and separated the ice cream equally. I sat down at the table and we ate the ice cream.

"Wow this is really good Sami!" Sami had his half gone. His mouth had a blue ring around it.

"Don't eat to fast or you'll get a brain freeze." Marco chuckled.

Jonah stared at him confused.

"Whats a brain freeze?"

 Marco smirked at him.

"You'll see."

I smirked at Marco. Marco turned his head towards me.

"What, it's true..." Marco whispered.

A few minutes later Jonah held his head.

 "Whats wrong?" I asked him.

 "My head hurts."

Marco busted up laughing.

"That my friend, is a brain freeze." Marco said while laughing.

I got up and kissed Jonah's cheek.

"There does that make it feel better?" I asked him.

 "No." He groaned.

Marco smirked at me.

"I think I have a brain freeze too."

 I giggled at him.

"Ya whatever." I said while kissing his cheek.

Marco blushed deeply. I giggled again. I got up and put away my bowl. Marco grabbed Jonah's bowl and put it in the sink along with his.

"Alright, I think its time for you to go to bed."I pointed at Jonah. He frowned but got up from his seat and walked over to me.

"Goodnight Sami!" He said while hugging me.

I bent down so I could reach his height.

"Goodnight lil bro!" I kissed his cheek.

He went back to his room.
