Nervous

When the door opened a girl around my age was looking me up and down. Who are you and how may I help you,was the first thing she asked.

Um Hi my name is Ashtyn, I'm looking for Calvin Coe I said with quickness I was dead nervous. She looked me up and down before saying hold on,
She turned around and yelled "Daddy, there is someone here for you" when those words came out of her mouth I felt my heart drop. He really left and started a new family, I can't be mad my mom did to but damn he could've reached out.

As I was staring off into space I heard a deep voice say Hello, how can I help you. Hi I knew what I'm about to say might change something's or mess something up but I couldn't go any longer without truly knowing you ... I paused to catch my breath. He was looking at me with this curious face so I continued. My name is Ashtyn Coe and I'm your daughter I spilled out. When I said those words he just looked at me with a stale face I couldn't read his emotions didn't know wha he was thinking. All of a sudden I was pulled into a hug. He started yelling honey she's here she found me. I can't believe your here hurry inside before someone sees. I was a little confused by what he said but I just went along in the house.

Baby what are you yelling for a tall dark chocolate women said coming around the corner. Honey do you remember when I told you I had a daughter when we first met and how her mom ran off without telling me. Well this is her my daughter Ashtyn.

Wait a minute what do you mean she ran off, you left us because you weren't ready to be a father I exclaimed. Sweetheart it's a lot you don't know about the past. But whatever you mother told you was a lie, we can get into that conversation another time right now I want to hold my daughter and introduce you to you sibling he said with quickness. All I did was nod my head I had no words was what he saying was true did my mom really have me fatherless because she ran away from him.

I have a lot to think about and a lot to re-evaluate, I'm speechless I need answers but for right now I'll get to know the family I never knew I had.
