The four adventurous Gryffindors walked into Hogsmeade and as they did so, the sirens went off. Cassandra cursed in her head. When the guards came by, they ducked and went into a little alley where they wouldn't be seen.

"Potter twins!" someone called from their left. "Come on!"

He was waving his hand. The four of them ran and as they got closer, Cassandra realized that the man calling to them was Aberforth Dumbledore.

"Was it me or did that look like Dumbledore?" Hermione asked.

"It's his brother, Aberforth." Cassandra sighed.

"You are correct, Miss Potter." Aberforth said as he came down the stairs.

"We need to get into the castle tonight." Harry said.

Aberforth was staring into the painting. He didn't say anything for a while.

"You know what to do." Aberforth said to the painting.

The girl in the painting nodded before walking away.

"Where have you sent her?" Cassandra asked.

"You'll see." Aberforth smiled. "Soon enough."

"That's your sister, Ariana, isn't it?" Hermione asked. "She died very young, didn't she?"

"My brother sacrificed many things on his journey to find power." Aberforth said. "Including Ariana. And she was devoted to him. He gave her everything. Everything but time."

"Thank you, Mr. Dumbledore." Hermione said before turning to her friends. "He did save our lives twice. Kept an eye on us in that mirror. That doesn't seem like someone who's given up."

"She's coming back." Cassandra said.

"Who's that with her?" Ron asked.

As Ariana walked closer, the portrait swung open.

"Neville!" Harry exclaimed. "You look..."

Harry couldn't find the words to describe Neville. He looked so beaten up and so depressed. Cassandra felt a pang of hurt in her chest.

"Like hell, I reckon." Neville smiled. "This is nothing. Seamus is worse. Hey Ab, we've got a couple more coming through."

The four followed Neville through the tunnel.

"Don't remember this on the Marauder's Map." Ron said.

"That's because it never existed until now." Neville said. "The seven secret passages were sealed off before the start of the year. This is the only way in or out now. The grounds are crawling with Death Eaters and Dementors."

"How bad is it with Snape as Headmaster?" Cassandra asked, wondering if her adoptive father was truly a man of evil or not.

"Hardly ever see him." Neville answered. "It's the Carrows you need to watch out for."

"The Carrows?" Harry asked.

"Yeah." Neville said. "Brother and sister in charge of discipline. They like punishment, the Carrows."

"They did that to you?" Cassandra asked. "Why?"

"Today's Dark Arts lesson was practicing the Cruciatus Curse." Neville explained. "On first years. I refused. Hogwarts has changed and not in a good way."

"Oh, Neville, I'm sorry." Cassandra apologized.

"Let's have a bit of fun, shall we?" Neville asked as he opened up the portrait. "Hey! Listen up you lot! I brought you a surprise."

"No more of Aberforth's cooking's gonna help." Seamus said. "We'll be surprised if we can digest it."

Neville stepped aside, revealing Harry and Cassandra to his friends.

"Oh my!"

"Harry!"

"Cassandra!"

Cassandra embraced Seamus, Dean and Luna in a hug one by one. She loved these people more than anything.

"Get the word out to Remus and the others that the Potter twins are back." Neville whispered to someone. "Okay! Okay, let's not kill them in hugs. What's the plan you two?"

"Okay." Harry said. "There's something we need to find. Something hidden here in the castle. And it may help us defeat You-Know-Who."

"Right, what is it?" Neville questioned.

"We don't know." Cassandra said.

"Where is it?"

"We don't know that either." Harry answered. "I realize that there's not much to go on."

"That's nothing to go on." Seamus said.

Dean elbowed Seamus in the side.

"We think it has something to do with Ravenclaw." Cassandra said. "It'll be small, easily concealed. Any ideas?"

"Well there's Rowena Ravenclaw's lost diadem." Luna perked up.

"Oh boy, here we go." Ron muttered under his breath causing Cassandra to elbow him in the stomach.

"Lost diadem of Ravenclaw." Luna said. "Hasn't anyone heard of it? It's quite famous."

"Yes, but Luna, it's lost." Cho Chang said. "For centuries now. There isn't a person alive today who has seen it."

"Excuse me." Ron said. "Can someone tell me what bloody item it is?"

"It's a crown." Cho said. "Kind of like a tiara."

The door opened and Ginny walked in.

"Harry." Ginny said.

"Hi there." Ron said waving at Ginny, but she ignored him. "Six months since she's seen me and it's like I'm a first year. I'm only her brother."

"She has lots of those." Seamus said. "She only has one Harry."

Cassandra snorted, causing a dirty look from Ron.

"What is it that you need?" Neville asked Ginny.

"Snape knows." Ginny said. "He knows that Cassie and Harry were spotted in Hogsmeade."

Ginny's information sent off alarm bells in Cassandra's head. She was now worried about what they were going to do.
