Brianna's Pov

I walked with my "sister" down the street. She's not my real sister. She's my cousin. Her name is Tina Karly, and mine is Brianna Matrin

"BRIANNA!" she screamed. I jumped "What the heck Tina?! You scared me! And probably all of North America!" I exclaimed.

"You were ignoring me," she says I gave her a look and she knew exactly what it meant. It meant 'I can't believe you.' She has been my best friend since I was a few weeks old. My birthday's December first and her birthday is March 24 of the same year. That's why she's in 9th grade and I'm in 8th. All of a sudden I tripped over something and fell onto the sidewalk.

Tina was laughing at me. "Oh shut up!" I said as I stood up. I turned around and saw two crystals. A rose gold colored crystal and a magenta-colored one.

I'm the type of person who has everything in their bag. So basically a teenage version of Mary Poppins. I pull out two necklaces without anything on them and put the crystals on a necklace.

Each crystal already had a small gold hoop on it the perfect size of my necklace chains. I handed the rose gold one to Tina. Rose gold is her favorite color and magenta is mine. Tina may seem like the type of person who would bully someone but she's not. If she saw someone getting bullied she would probably run up and punch the bully in the face.

"Where do you get this stuff..." she said, shaking her head while she took the necklace. She put the necklace on and I swear I saw something pass through it. You know how when there's a magical object in movies and the light moves across it? Like that but purple. I just shrugged it off and said to myself eh there's no such thing as magic... I just didn't know then how wrong I was.

Ahhhh! Here it is! Chapter one of a story I've been making since September! These updates will probably come out quicker than my other stories because I just copy and paste from Google Docs. I hope you liked this chapter!
