If you are a fan of the game Is It Love?, in particular the story of the Bartholys, you are already familiar with Viktor Bartholy - the original vampire who turned Drogo, Nicolae, Peter and Lorie into his vampire family. You also know that he is cruel, heartless, vicious, mean, nasty and overall a bad, dislikable character.
I have written stories about all of his children and how Viktor changed them from humans into vampires. Now, it is finally his turn. I want to explore Viktor's past and find out what he was like as a human. He is an ancient being who became a vampire thousands of years ago. Thus, I will take you on a journey through time and space, back to Dacia - the part of the world now known as Transylvania, Romania. You will meet not only a young Viktor, but also his human family, including his parents. You will also join Viktor on his quest for power and immortality, and discover how he turned from a Dacian prince into the ruthless vampire from Is It Love?.
I hope you give Viktor a chance - perhaps reading about his human life will convince you he wasn't such a terrible person in the beginning. Tragic circumstances led to his transformation, both physically and psychologically. Who knows? You might even like Viktor when you are done reading his story.
