The day I met you...

Chapter one: First day of school

Alex pov

I sat up in bed groggily. Has the sun always been this bright? I thought to myself. The large window next to my bed always shone out bright rays of sunshine. Today was my first day at my new school! I hopped out of bed and headed straight for the kitchen.

I poured myself a bowl of my favorite cereal, lucky charms, After I was done eating, I got dressed, and headed out to school. I was pretty close to my school, so I walked there. When I arrived, I stood alone, until a red-haired boy approached me.

"Hi!" I said nervously.

"Hey, you must be new, I'm Jaxx." He replied smiling Friendly.

We chatted a bit more until a group of people came up to us.

"These are my friends," Jaxx said gesturing to the group.

They all introduced themselves, and we all got to know each other. I couldn't seem to stop glancing at that pink-haired boy though. Zach, that was his name. There was just something about him.

"What's your first class?" Charlie asked me inquisitively. I looked in my backpack for my schedule, but I didn't see it. Shoot, I must have left it at home. "I don't have a schedule, I left it at home."

"Come on, I'll show you to the office, we can get one there," Zach replied linking arms with me. Now we were side by side. He smelled so good, like cinnamon and peppermint. Almost like Christmas.

We got my schedule and turned out, we both had the same first-period class, History. When we got to the room, we sat next to each other. Then we started chatting, he was so funny and kind.

"Miss. Teran, Mr.Zaxor, care to share what's so funny with the class?" Mrs.Sasha asked sternly.

I froze, and Zach just smirked at her. "Oh, No ma'am-" I started to say. I was cut off by Zach's voice. "I was just talking about, how boring this class was." He said laughing. I couldn't believe he had been so savage to tell the teacher that. I giggled a little, mostly from shock at how bold Zach was.

"I-I-..Detention for both of you!"She stuttered. I couldn't believe I had gotten detention on my first day. Well, at least Zach would be there with me.

Before I knew it, It was lunchtime. I spotted Charlie and Jade at a lunch table and went over to sit with them.

"I heard you and Zach were getting real firty in class today. " Jade teased with a light-hearted smile on her face.

I couldn't lie, something about Zach was particularly captivating. "I wouldn't call it flirting, but he is cute," I admitted blushing a little.

"SHIP!" Charlie said as Jaxx and light took their seats at the table.

"Ship what?" Light asked curiously.

"Zalex! Zach and Alex!" Jade said smiling.

I blushed, even more, I actually thought zalex is a really cute ship name.

"Ship!" Light and Jaxx both said at the same time. Then the twins came to the table. I pleaded to them with my eyes, not to tell Zach. They seemed to get the message because we all fell into a casual conversation about our school day.

Then, the school day was over, it was now time for detention.

So this is my first Zalex story. I'm so nervous to post it. All mistakes are mine.
