"Will you please shut up and look at the clothes silently," Jake snapped.

"Jake, I told you you're just going to get bored in here," Mom glared at my brother, shoving one last piece of dress into my hands, it was a baby pink dress, clearly not my style, "Now go to the Teen Lounge." Mom signaled her hands as Jake walked away.

"Mom, I'm too nervous," I set the dress to the rack, searching on another once again,

"Bethany," She started, "Don't be, you know each other like he was just your best friend," She said comfort in her eyes.

"I hope its just like that," I said, "With a girl trailing on him, he can just grow tired and leave."

She puts a hand on my shoulders, "Dear, you're perfect just the way you are, I mean where would you get that amazing looks from?" She joked, "And if that Connor guy won't see it, then he's blind"

I sighed and smiled in content and walked away as I look for more dresses. I gazed at the time and it was 4, just three hours to get ready.

"What the actual-"I say and walk towards the dress. Its a simple long blue dress. I picked it up and look at the mirror if it's okay

"That's perfect Beth," I smiled as she paid for it.

Walking to the cabin brought so many questions:

Do he really like me?

Am I better than Mere?

Will I screw this date up??

I shrug it off as I open my cabin door as mom walked away towards her cabin. I watched her walk away, then she stopped and looked at me.

"Good Luck," She mouthed

Why is this such a big deal?

Connor

"Beth your like the most awesome girl I met, your my best friend and stuff before this tour end, will you be my girlfriend?" I say nervously to the empty chair in front of me thinking Beth was there.

"Too cliché," I rubbed my face, clearly over-reacting.

"If you're done saying stupid things all by yourself, then you need to go its 7 sharp" Jake interrupted from the back.

"Oh yeah thanks, Jake, " I say and take a deep breath. Be calm Connor.

I knocked on her cabin door as the door opened, and there Bethany stood up wearing a nice dress that made her look more pretty with red lips like wine.

"Connor?" 

"You're so gorgeous," I sighed, my trance was broken as I looked up, "Shall we?" I asked.

"We shall", Grabbing her hand as we made way to Bon Vierre.

"This place is fancy" She said emphasizing the last word.

"I know," I smiled, "Just the right place for you" 

"Stop on your corny pick up lines, Connor" We both laughed as we ordered our food.

Beth

Now were walking towards the rail of the ship, and just adoring the stars.

"I remember The Fault In Our Stars in here." I say as I look up.

"Bethany?" I hear Connor ask.

"Yeah?"

"Thanks for letting me take you out."

"Thanks too, Con. I really had a great time."

When your legs don't work like they used to before

And I can't sweep you off of your feet

Will your mind still remember the taste of my love

Will your eyes still smile from your cheeks.

I noticed I was staring at his lips. So soft. And he was leaning in. Do I really want to kiss him?

Yes, you do, because you like him too.

I was interrupted from my thoughts as a pair of welcoming lips up on mine. Connor's eyes were closed as I did too. Our lips was moving in sync. It was slow perfect for the first kiss.

But darling I will be loving you

till were 70

And baby my heart could still fall as hard at 23

And Im thinking 'bout how

Peope fall in love in mysterious ways

I pulled away as our foreheads touch each other.

"I like you, Beth"

"I like you," I said, "I like you too,"

"So does this mean?" His smile was huge, with hands still on either side of my waist.

"Yes, it does"

He smiled and leaned on me again.

Maybe it's a part of a plan

Oh me I fall in love with you every single day

Oh, I just wanna tell you I am, So honey now

We pulled away and intertwined our hands as we made way to out cabin.

I guess it really turned out great. With Ed Sheeran on the background. Its amazing. I finally 'found love right where we are'.
