I slowly drift to nearest beach while holding on of what's left of my left arm. The sounds of metal clanking came from my beaten riggings. Cannons are all busted, only turret X and B are moveable.
They cold air breeze through my body and rigging, echoing through holes of my riggings. For once, the ocean is calm gentle.
I stopped and scan the beach more thoroughly, it's twilight now so it's hard to identify the sandy beach with ro- wait what's that?
I noticed 2 huge mass, lying on each other. I approach it with my only working fog light and discovered it was masses of 2 battleships.
"Who's warships those this belong to? Wait, this camouflage paint. I recognize this pattern... Don't tell me..." I quickly approach the beach and to my fear, it is who I think it is.
There lies Hood and Bismarck, laying right next to each other unconscious with blood, bruises, wounds and tattered clothes.
"No!" I quickly get on the beach and ran towards them. Tears start to fall down like a stream of river down my cheeks.
"No no no, please live..." With a trembling voice I plead. I place my fingers on their throat, searching for pulse. First I searched for Hood's, after I felt a slow but steady pulse I sigh in relieve. For Bismarck's, she have it but very faint and slow. I sigh in extra relief after knowing both of them are just unconscious.
I wiped my tears aways and start to examine their mental cube. I bow closer towards them so that my mental cube that is hanging from my neck like a necklace can activate the respond.
After a while, a small cube starts to appears on top of their chests. Both of the cubes glows and pulsing faintly in blue. I let the cubes to float on my palm to examine it more. Hoping not for the worst.
I noticed that the cubes are slowing fading. The pulse is slowly slowing down. Oh no, it's getting terrible.
I look at the left and to the right just to see vast ocean surround us, no sign of any man-made landmark.
There's no other way, I need to use it
A faint voice echoes in my ears like a person whispers it near me. The voice's right, I need to use it.
I need to use my own mental cube to revive theirs
This will hinders or possible stop the growth of my already lost left arm but,...... but, it's for saving the Leaders that have sacrifice themselves for their own and mankind's race. There's no other way.....
"Let me be the last blood to be spilled on the battlefield so that future can live peacefully and prosperously. Please receive this gift as my 'Thank you and Good Luck' gift for both of you. When the starts aligned, we'll meet again."
I discharge all of my riggings and place down the mental cubes on my lap. My rigging slowly turns into a cluster of smaller cubes and turns back into a Queen Elizabeth-Class Battleship, beached on the sand just like both the battleship earlier. Holes starts to appear on the hull of the ship while most of the bridge is wiped out. After it's finished, the leftover cluster come down towards my mental cube and absorbed into it, making it larger and brighter.
I pick both the mental cubes back on to my hands and lift it up near my mental cube.
My mental starts to glow vigorously and a stream of light starts to flow out of it into each of the faintly glowing cubes. A sudden shock travel through my spine. I resist it and continue focusing to share my cube's power into them. I can feel my energy slowly depleting from my body. My right hand slowly lowered and lowered until it reaches the still warm sand.
After somewhat a long time, the transfer is complete. Both of the cubes starts to float on their own towards their own body and absorb back into their chest.
"Heh, I did it..." I smirked. I can feel my body slowly tumbling down to my back. The warm sand warming up back while the my head is slowly gazed my waves. It's already dark, huh.
The stars shines so bright tonight, brighter than it use to be. I look down on my chest and saw my own mental faintly glowing and pulsing. So this the end.....
For the last time I take a glimpse of both Good and Bismarck, now with stable breathing as their chest pumps up and down on a consistent manner. After that, I smiled, look up towards the dark skies filled with bright stars and slowly my vision starts to get darker and darker.
What a hell of a run it is....
