Robin! Robin Yezina Naomi!" Snapping out of my thoughts I look over at my mom who is holding up a wedding dress. I look at it and sigh then she puts the dress down and hands it back to the lady helping us.

"Babe you're not helping, now what's wrong?" She asks me as she sits next to me.

"You know when you feel like something just isn't right. Momma I don't know, but were you this unsure when you were getting ready to marry dad?" I tell her.

"I definitely had cold feet getting ready to marry Bernard. It was surreal that someone was actually able to put up with my nonsense, even made a bet about it with your aunts and uncles. But what made me go on with it was me thinking about life without your father and it upset me with the hard thought of it. I never wanted to think about it again so I went on and married that wonderful man and he made me the happiest woman alive blessing me with two beautiful children." She tells me and kisses my forehead. "But enough of that your engagement party is soon! We'll do this wedding dress shit later it's actually draining!"

We left the bridal shop and back to Ryan's place where he was able to get professional service for our outfits this afternoon. So for half of the day I was being poked at and painted on, but it didn't bother me because my mom was with me. What bothered me was Nicholas still in my mind. I missed his touch and the way he made love to me. He was so gentle to me. It made me smirk thinking about it. I was so confused how I could remember it.

"Hey baby." I snap out of it seeing Ryan come up to me kissing me on my cheek.

"Hey." I simply say a little uneasy.

"You okay?" He asks and I just nod my head.

"Yeah just hungry." I lie.

"I'll cook you something, momma Xavier would you like something too?" He says.

"Oh no thanks honey, but thank you for offering." My mom responds.

"My pleasure, I'll be in the kitchen babe." He says and dances off into the hall making me slightly chuckle.

By the time my hair was completely done Ryan came out with a plate of food with a strawberry smoothie.

"Now Mrs. Xavier I know you said you didn't want anything, but there was extra smoothie. It's Robins favorite thing I make for her." He says and I smile at him.

"Oh thank you!" My mom says and she sips it with her eyes going wide. "This is very yummy Ryan. I love that my son-in-law can cook and make delicious smoothies."

I kiss Ryan and told him thank you before digging into my grilled turkey sandwich. I sip my smoothie and it was very yummy. I'm not a big cooker so it would be a plus to have him there.

While I was eating Ryan was showing us his outfits for tonight and made us choose. He looked good in anything so while I was saying 'yes' to everything he put on, it was really my mom who picked.
