It was an ordinary day. A day you would probably quickly forget about. A day where the cool air bristled through your hair, messing it up and throwing it all over your face. A day where you would wrap yourself in layers and layers of clothes, just to keep what little warmth you have in your body when you step outside. A normal day, in the middle of December. No sight of snow, but you would still constantly have that nagging feeling as if you stood in a freezer, surrounded by nothing but coldness.

On just that day another ordinary thing happened. A boy, face scrunched up and teeth chattering loudly, walked out of a gigantic building that looked just like every other school. Plain and boring. He stuffed his shaking hands inside the little pockets of his plain grey jacket, looking like it did nothing to secure him from the freezing cold. Ignoring the people chattering loudly behind him, he kept his head down and stumbled across the neatly mowed lawn to a rather small parking lot, packed with numerous vehicles. Messy brown curls could be seen under the dark beanie the boy had stuck on his head, ever so often tucking said curls with an annoyed huff behind his ears and under the thick fabric.

Taking your attention away from the boy you would be able to see various types of people scattered across the schoolgrounds. For example, a group of girls, who were all wearing thin sweaters and short skirts, seemingly regretting their poor choice of clothing on this very day. A few metres away, leaning on the brick wall, two tough looking guys with their puffy football jerseys and each a hand in front of their faces, holding cigarettes up to their mouths. Or maybe the couple, snogging and making out behind a big oak, would have caught your eye. All seemingly more interesting than the tiny boy, silently on his way to get as far away from this school and its people as fast as possible.

But right now, we don't care about all the others, because our attention lies in said boy, as he is to bring us a story, way more fascinating than all of the students he is leaving behind. He may not know it just yet, but his life is about to get exciting.
