It was Christmas Eve, and the elves was excitedly talking over lunch in Mrs. Claus' kitchen. They had a very busy afternoon and a night ahead of them. Throughout the year Santa's elves made toys, but the big night approached there were little important jobs left. One of the Christmas elves, Bud, decided to pick a person to fill in the little important jobs. He called Jonathan, who was visiting the workshop for the day.
He asked if can do some important jobs before Christmas comes and he said decided to fulfill the task! Jonathan was proudly wearing a green and red-striped honorary elf hat, presented that morning non other than Santa Claus himself. Bud explained to Jonathan that they have to finished wrapping and packing presents, bathe and groom the reindeer, wash Santa's sleigh, reminded Santa to check his list twice, and so much more. Jonathan was sure he can complete all of the task before Christmas morning.
So Jonathan was off to work. He he made toys for the children, he wrapped the presents, he fed and cleaned the reindeer, he red painted Santa's sleigh, he worked as hard as he can. Soon in a blink of an eye, he was finally finished. Santa saw how hard Jonathan worked and he really appreciated it. Then before he know it Santa and his reindeerer were ready to deliver presents. Jonathan was ready to leave and have his Christmas birthday (Yes, he was born on Christmas).
Ms. Claus told Jonathan to wait because she a surprise for him. Since he is a Christmas baby, he had two gifts. It was something that he always wanted, he got a new laptop with Wi-Fi connection and an iPod filled with games and cool songs. Jonathan was so happy, he was crying tears of joy. He ran to Ms. and gave her a big hug full of glee. Santa was so nice that he ask Jonathan to help him deliver the presents to all of the boys and girls in the world. And you know that Jonathan would say yes, but he did.
So Jonathan hopped in Santa's sleigh and they headed on. While Santa Was riding a sleigh, Jonathan dropped off the presents. They went to: China, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, California, Mexico, Africa, Russia, Maine, Florida, Haiti, Dominican Republic, the Bahamas, Hawaiii, India, France, Japan, Texas, Alaska, Soutn America, England, Spain, Eygpt, North Dokota, South Dokota, New York, Philadephia, Wyoming, Seattle, even Antarctica. It was a busy night. On Christmas morning, Santa dropped Jonathan home, thank godness his parents were still sleeping. He went back to bed, but Santa left him a birthmas (combination of Christmas and birthday) present. As everyone was sleeping in the neighborhood, he whispered, Merry Christmas to all, and Happy Birthday to Jonathan Ciceron!
