"And that's the last of them!" I say excitedly as we just finished loading up my truck with my suitcases. I then looked over to see my dad and mom in tears. you see, I'm leaving for college today and I guess my parents are not ready to let their youngest child leave. As much as I felt bad for them, I couldn't help but be excited and happy for myself.
"Does my little Ramona Bug have to go!" my mother cries out as she hugs me tightly.
"I'm sorry mom, but you know I have to, and hey! think about it this way I'll be back to visit every holiday, and maybe weekends if I can manage!"
" I-I know, I just hope Max takes good care of you! Ramona, I swear to the heavens above if that boy doesn't watch out for you I'll beat him!" She says playfully with a bit of seriousness. Max is My older brother, I'm staying with him and his 3 best friends this year. Then when they graduate this year it's mine until I find a new roommate.
after about 10 minutes of crying, I hugged my mom and dad and said my goodbyes. Oakley Falls University, here I come.

After about an hour of driving, I saw the big sign for 'Oakely Falls University' up ahead. I was so excited, to say the least. I pulled into the parking lot outside the dorm section. they were huge! (the dorm rooms) they could have an amount of 7 people living in them. Not bragging or anything but my family has a bit of money so my brother and his friends all share one dorm, and they're about to get a new roomie! (me) I was about to get out of my car and walk to the front desk to ask which dorm but then suddenly there was a knock on my window and I jumped ten feet in the air! I looked up and there was this really attractive guy, he had curly but short light brown hair with almost black eyes, I then realized I was staring, and rolled down my window.
" excuse me miss?" he says in a thick Australian accent. "You're parked a little crooked ae?"
awkward silence......
"ah, you must be new, Im James. It's nice to meet ya, love!"
"Hi, Im Ramona, it's nice to meet you, James!" I say excitedly.
He laughed a little, well more of a chuckle. "You're a little ray of sunshine aren't ya?"
" Maybe.... Maybe not, stick around and find out." I say laughing a little quiet and awkwardly.
"I think I might just do that sunshine," he says sending me a wink and a million-dollar smile. we were just staring at each other now, ok but like dang he is cute. I then realized I should probably park right, and then get up to my dorm.
"well- uh i-i should probably park right and get up to my dorm before the sun sets soon."
"what floor ya on Darlin?" he asks with a sweet smile.
"4" was all I said
"no way me too! well, I better go then, see ya around sunshine!" he says before sending me one more wink then walking away.
