Racing thoughts through my head,
keep me from going to bed.
Another sunrise I have seen,
Another sunset unseen.
Every night I try to find,
what combination of pills,
that will quiet my mind.
Another sunrise I have seen,
Another sunset unseen.
My mind will never stop,
so my head will never drop.
Another sunrise I have seen,
Another sunset unseen.
I miss my husband & my kids.
I miss my life.
I miss being Mother & Wife.
Another sunrise I have seen,
Another sunset unseen.
It is lonely & quiet at night.
When everyone else is sleeping,
I am kept awake thinking.
Another sunrise I have seen,
Another sunset unseen.
Trying to find something to watch,
I watch the clock:
it ticks away tick tock.
Another sunrise I have seen,
Another sunset unseen.
I miss what could have been,
Basking in the sunlight with family & friends,
Another sunrise I have seen,
Another sunset unseen.
