You woke up the next morning by the sun shining right onto your face while still lying in your brothers bed. As soon as you looked to the floor you saw the matress your brother slept on before. He was already at work.
The sound of your mobile phone ringing came out of your room and you looked at the time. It was already 1 pm and you rushed over to your bedroom. You looked on your phone display and saw the list of the 22 calls you already missed. As soon as you picked up you heard the voice of Kaori, she seemed really worried.

"(Y/n) are you alright??" She had a voice that sounded like she cried before calling you and her voice also sounded a little raspy.

"Of course I am..what's wrong?" You sat down on the bed while listening closely what she had to say.

"Komi is just...gone.. his mom said he didn't come back home from school yesterday... She sounded so frustrated and sad....and there is nothing I can do.." Kaori sounded really exhausted and upset.

"Hey...you don't seem good at all..please get some rest, alright? We can talk about it again when we meet in person..." She didn't say anything for a couple of seconds.

Before she started talking again, she breathed deeply in and out. "Alright...can I ask..why aren't you in school (Y/n)?"

"I just felt ...sick...and I wasn't able to sleep last night. I had nightmares."

"I hope you will feel better very soon....I have to go to class right now...see you tomorrow if you're going to be able to come... Take care."

She hanged up and the rest of the day you were busy with thinking about how Komi just dissapeared. It was such a strange feeling, someone you knew was just gone and no one knew what happend. Why him?

The next day your brother brought you to school by car because his shop he worked at was on the same way, and after what he heard about Komi, he was now worried about you walking alone somewhere.
He prated like a waterfall the whole car ride long and you were a little annoyed because he was very overprotective. After his tedios talking, he finally stopped in front of your school and you stepped out of the car.

"(Y/n)! Wait a second, I have to tell you one more thing!"

In response you rolled your eyes and stood there being ready to finally shut the door.

"What is it??"

"You are going home straight after school is ending, do you understand me (Y/n)??" Keishin stared at you with a serious expression right into your eyes, it was kinda scary because it was very rare when he was that serious.

"Yes I understand! Sigh Keishin...please don't be worried, alright?"

"I have every right to be worried right now. No one knows what goes through a sick bastards head and when he's ever going to stop."

In lunch break you sat with your friend on a bench somewhere without any people being around except the volleyball team. You two watched them but you actually only had eyes for the black/white haired guy. Bokuto and Akaashi tossed each other the volleyball and Kōtarō tried really hard to impress you.
As soon a the taller guy tossed the ball, it hit right onto your face.

Ouch

He froze and gazed at you while you were holding your head looking dizzy at the ground. You couldn't realize what happend at first. Your friend gasped and asked you if you were alright over and over again while panicking.
Bokuto then came back after a short time getting a gel ice pack for you from the school nurse and he softly took your hand off your head and pushed it slightly on the part the volleyball hitted your head. Kaori looked surprised at Bokuto.

"..Since when was he such a gentleman?" She mumbled while smiling and crossing her arms in pleasent surprisement.
You slowly glanced up to him and he looked with guilt written all over his face at the part the ball hitted your head.

She hates me. I ruined everything. She will never ever be able to love me and be my wife. (Y/n), I'm so fucking sorry. I'm an airhead.

"I'm so so sorry...I'm a fucking idiot.." He had a little of a shivering sound in his voice but it made you smile gently because he cared so much for you in that moment.

"It's okay, Bokuto, I'm alright." You met his mesmerizing amber eyes and Bokuto's heart stopped for a second while he started to blush. This moment felt so special for him.

"I..I-..uhm.." Bokuto stutterd and he didn't know what to say or how to react but he didn't dare to brake the eye contact. He was more nervous than you and it was also very obvious, his behaviour made you giggle a little bit. Your friend in the meantime watched the both of you having that cute moment wich made her grin like an idiot.
The bell rang and you two still didn't broke the eye contact. This few seconds made the both of you realize that you felt the same.

"Bokuto-san. We are going to be late for class."

"Yeah..of course...Akaashi-" The dark haired boy sighed and grabbed his friends arm and he pulled him away from you into the direction of the entrance. As soon as they were gone, your friend stepped in front of you and she looked excited.

"Wow...I didn't know you had a crush on Bokuto?? you haven't told me anything!" Kaori continued to grin and you were blushing intensly while you glanced in embarassment on the floor. But you also didn't wanted to deny her words because it was the truth.

"What?? Bokuto??...I mean... maybe.."

"It was soo obvious as soon as you two looked at each other like that! He is definetly feeling the same, you both have to date!" The last 4 words followed you through-out the day.

After the weekend you started again another boring school week on monday. Bokuto Kōtarō didn't look at you even once the whole day and you thought about if you did something wrong or maybe it was still awkward for him because of the situation that happend just before the weekend. After the first school day of the week ended, you made your way home. Suddenly you felt a gently touch of a big hand on your shoulder and you watched behind your back. Bokuto couldn't look you in the eyes. The tall guy gazed over to his friend with a face of regret not knowing how to talk to you at first. Akaashi stood like 5 metres behind the masculine guy looking like he was waiting for his friend to finish something.

"I don't wanna do it Akaashi!" He tried to speak in a tone so you wouldn't hear it but he obviously failed. Bokuto looked like a small kid talking to his mom.

"Do it, Bokuto-san or I will be really disappointed in you." These words alarmed him and he turned into your direction again.

"H-hey...(Y/n)" He fidgeted with his hands in nervousness, not knowing how to continue with a little of blush on his cheeks.

"..Hey Bokuto." You only smiled gently in relief that he was finally talking to you after he tried to avoid you from the beginning of the day. Of course you were shy as well and blushing while looking at the tall male. You could see he wanted to tell you something needful but he just didn't know how to put it into the right words.

"Well..." He tried to stay calm but Bokuto still continued with a shaky voice.

"Do you want..to go out with me sometime?.."

And suddenly, everything felt surreal in this moment. It was something you wished for a long time and it finally came true. You looked up to him with a expression of pure happiness and excitement.

"O-Of course! I would love to!"

Bokuto felt like he did something incredible and he couldn't help but just hug you tightly while lifting you from the floor. It was the first time he hugged you ever and his masculine body squeezing onto yours made you feel very safe and warm. You closed your eyes in this moment and just layed your hands carefully on his back. After you did so, you noticed his heartbeat going faster and you couldn't help but smile.
It was so perfect.
This moment felt like the beginning of a romance movie.
