Chapter 4: Suffer and Forgive

Jungkook smirked, a cruel satisfaction twisting his features, as he watched Taehyung crumple, his head resting on the cold, hard ground.  He could feel the dampness of Taehyung's tears soaking through his sweater, a morbid amusement washing over him.

"What do you want to do now, Leader Kim?" Jungkook whispered, his voice a dangerous purr, his breath warm against Taehyung's ear.  "Should I kill him for you?"  He glanced at Jimin, his eyes gleaming with a malicious intent.

"So what..." Taehyung mumbled, his voice choked with emotion.

Jungkook, momentarily taken aback by Taehyung's unexpected response, looked at him, his brow furrowed with confusion.

"So what if he killed my parents?" Taehyung continued, his voice rising, his eyes blazing with a fierce anger.  "Don't you hear it?  He said it was an accident.  Besides, I trusted him more than you, and if I had to choose between you and him, I would still choose him.  Do you see what you're doing now?  You killed a lot of omegas just to find him!  You're insane!"

Jimin, his heart sinking, felt a wave of regret wash over him.  He had betrayed Taehyung's trust, his actions a cruel echo of his past mistakes.  He looked at Taehyung, his eyes filled with remorse, his heart aching with the realization of the pain he had caused.  He hadn't understood just how deeply Taehyung trusted him, how much he valued their bond.

"Ah, you're no fun," Jungkook said, his voice laced with a mocking amusement.  "Hold this omega, and I'll teach this guy a lesson."  He tossed Taehyung to his guards, his gesture dismissive and cruel.

Two guards, their faces hardened, grabbed Taehyung's arms, their grip tight, their expressions devoid of any empathy.

"What are you doing?!" Taehyung yelled, his voice filled with a desperate fury. "Let me go!"

"Let me see how strong this bastard was," Jungkook grinned, his eyes gleaming with a savage delight.

He launched a powerful punch at Jimin's face, but Jimin, his reflexes honed by years of combat, dodged the attack with ease.  He countered, his fist connecting with Jungkook's cheek, a satisfying crack echoing through the air.  He followed up with a swift kick to Jungkook's left side, sending the alpha stumbling backward.  He grabbed Jungkook's shirt, his grip like a vice, and threw him into the other alpha, the two crashing to the ground in a tangle of limbs.

Jimin, his movements fluid and precise, kicked the two alphas in the stomach, sending them sprawling like bowling pins.  But he hadn't noticed the dagger that had pierced his right shoulder, the sharp pain momentarily distracting him.

He wanted to continue fighting, to unleash the full force of his rage, but two alphas, their faces twisted with malice, grabbed his arms, their grip like steel. They kicked the back of his knees, forcing him to kneel, his body succumbing to the pain.

"You're quite skilled, huh," Jungkook smirked, licking the blood from his bottom lip, his eyes gleaming with a cruel amusement.  "Amazing."

He punched Jimin in the nose and jaw, the impact sending a wave of pain through the rogue's body.

"That's cheating!" Taehyung yelled, his voice filled with a desperate plea. "You can't do that, Jungkook!"

"I'll do what I want," Jungkook grinned, his eyes gleaming with a savage delight.  He pulled on a pair of knuckle bars, their metal glinting in the sunlight.

Taehyung shut his eyes tightly, his heart pounding in his chest.  He couldn't bear to watch, the pain in Jimin's voice, the hiss of his breath, a testament to the brutality of the alpha's attack.

The omegas, hidden in the shadows, watched in horror, their disbelief palpable.  Jimin, the alpha rogue, the protector of their land, was being beaten mercilessly, his strength and resilience seemingly failing him.

Jungkook, his face twisted with a cruel satisfaction, tugged on Jimin's hair, enjoying the sight of the rogue's battered face, covered in blood.  Jimin's vision blurred, blood trickling down his left eyebrow, his body wracked with pain.

"I heard you can kill tons of alphas easily," Jungkook chuckled, his voice dripping with mockery.  "But why can't you even set yourself free?"

"S...et him f...ree," Jimin muttered, his voice weak, his breath ragged.

"You don't have to worry," Jungkook said, his voice a chilling whisper. "I can take care of him even if you die right now.  Actually, you can give him to me, so he won't need any of your help anymore."  He punched Jimin in the stomach, the impact sending a wave of pain through the rogue's body.

Jimin, his body wracked with pain, spat blood from his mouth.

"Alpha Jeon!  Stop it now!" Taehyung pleaded, his voice filled with a desperate hope.  "Please don't kill him!  I'm begging you!"

Taehyung's cries, louder than before, echoed through the battlefield, his pleas for mercy reaching Jungkook's ears.  The two alphas, their faces hardened, released Jimin, their grip loosening as they watched Jungkook's reaction.  But Jimin, his body weakened by the assault, collapsed to the ground, unconscious.

Jungkook, his eyes gleaming with a cold satisfaction, squatted down, his fingers gripping Jimin's hair, his gaze fixed on the rogue's battered face.

"Hah, he's still alive," Jungkook sighed, releasing his grip. "Such a tough bastard."

He stood up, removing his knuckle bars, his movements confident and assured.

Taehyung, his heart pounding in his chest, rushed to Jimin's side, his body trembling with a mixture of fear and relief.  He knelt beside the unconscious rogue, his hand gently caressing Jimin's cheek.

"Tell that bastard not to do shit with me again," Jungkook said, his voice laced with a chilling warning.  "Next time, don't ever mess with me."

"You're heartless," Taehyung yelled, his voice filled with a righteous anger.  "How could you even do this?  You're unfair!  He can fight back if you fight alone!"

Jungkook glared at Taehyung, his grip tightening on the omega's jaw, his eyes burning with a cold fury.

"You should be thankful because I didn't kill him yet," Jungkook said, his voice a low growl.  "Even though I fight alone, I can assure you, I could kill him.  Don't you ever raise your voice on me if you don't want me to kill him."  He yanked Taehyung's jaw, his touch rough and possessive.

"Kill me instead!" Taehyung sobbed, his voice filled with a desperate plea.  "This thing happens because of me!  It all started because of me!  Kill me now to end this!"

Jungkook, his eyes gleaming with a cruel amusement, pulled a sword from one of his guards, the blade glinting in the sunlight.  He pointed it at Taehyung's neck, his touch menacing.

"Are you sure you want to die?" Jungkook asked, his voice a low purr.  "Look at you, you're shaking right now.  How could I kill you if you're defenseless?  Besides, you're an omega.  I don't think that's a good idea if we fight."  He rolled his eyes, his gaze fixed on Taehyung, who was trembling with fear.

He handed the sword back to his guard, his movements dismissive.  He squatted down, his eyes meeting Taehyung's, his touch gentle yet possessive.

"You're so scared of me," Jungkook said, his voice a low chuckle.  "If you think I will kill you easily, I should have done that when the first time I came here.  Why would I waste my time keep coming back here just to see you if I will kill you?  That is such nonsense."

"What do you need in me?" Taehyung cried, his voice filled with a desperate plea.  "Why are you doing this to me?  I-I have nothing to do with you.  I didn't do anything to you."

"Shush," Jungkook said, his voice softening, his touch calming.  "Why are you crying?  You should stop now.  I won't do anything to you.  I told you, I won't kill you.  Calm down."  He gently wiped away Taehyung's tears, his gaze lingering on the omega's face.

"Please, stop attacking us," Taehyung sobbed, his voice filled with a desperate hope.  "I-I promise you, I won't do anything with your land.  Please, give us our peace.  We don't want war.  W-we'll do anything, Alpha."

"That's what I want to hear," Jungkook said, his smirk returning, his eyes gleaming with a mischievous glint.  "I will tell you what I want you to do, and I will assure you that your land will be fine and away from war, Leader Kim."

He leaned forward, his lips brushing against Taehyung's cheek, a gesture both intimate and possessive.

Chapter 4: Suffer and Forgive (Continued)

After three days, Jimin was brought to the infirmary to heal.  He could have healed himself, being an alpha, but the internal bleeding was severe.  Fortunately, he was recovering well.

"Where's Taehyung?" Jimin asked the butler, sitting on the hospital bed, his voice raspy from disuse.

"Leader Kim didn't want to see you," the butler replied, his head hanging low.

"Where can I find him?" Jimin inquired, his voice laced with a mixture of hope and apprehension.

"He's in his room, but it would be better if you didn't go—"  The butler's sentence was cut short as Jimin, fueled by a desperate need to see Taehyung, stood up, ignoring the dextrose still attached to his arm.  He ran towards Taehyung's room, his steps urgent and determined.

"Taehyung," Jimin called out, his voice filled with a mixture of hope and anxiety.

"What are you doing here?" Taehyung responded, his voice cold, his eyes fixed on the book in his hands.  He could see Jimin through his peripheral vision, kneeling beside the bed, his posture a mixture of humility and desperation.

"I'm sorry, Taehyung," Jimin pleaded, his voice laced with remorse.  "I'm not ready to tell you yet about the accident.  I don't know how I could explain it to you.  I'm sorry."

"I trusted you, Hyung," Taehyung retorted, his voice laced with anger and disappointment.  "How can you lie to me?  Why do I have to find out about this from someone else instead of you?  How long are you going to hide it from me?"

"It's because I don't know if you will believe in me," Jimin said, his voice filled with a deep sadness.  "I don't know if you will forgive me.  I don't want to ruin your trust in me."

"But you already ruined it, Hyung!" Taehyung exclaimed, his voice filled with pain.  "You're only my family!  You know all about me, but why didn't I know you?  Are you treating me as your family too?"

"That day," Jimin began, his voice filled with a heavy sense of regret, "it was my time of presenting as an Alpha.  Your parents were helping me.  While I was trying to control myself, to be able to control my Alpha's instinct, I don't remember anything that I'm doing.  Everything surrounding me was all red, and I was in a rage.

I didn't control myself and ended up killing them.  When I go back to myself, I just found myself in the infirmary and the news about the accident.  I promised myself that I would protect you to pay for what I did to them.

Trust me, I was thinking of telling you, but I didn't know how I could tell you because you got too close to me.  Please forgive me for lying.  I'm so sorry."

Jimin, his heart heavy with guilt, poured out his truth, his voice pleading for Taehyung's understanding.

"Please, Hyung," Taehyung said, his voice choked with emotion.  "I don't want to see you, for now.  I want to be alone.  Please leave me and give me some time to think."

Jimin, understanding Taehyung's need for space, nodded his head.  He reached out, his hand gently cupping Taehyung's.

"I'll wait for you until you forgive me," Jimin said, his voice filled with a sincere hope.  "Please take your time and take care of yourself.  I won't show myself to you.  I will go now."  He pecked Taehyung's palm, a gesture of love and respect.

He stood up, his heart heavy with sorrow, and left Taehyung alone.  Taehyung, his body wracked with sobs, hugged his knees, his pain a tangible presence in the room.

The weight of betrayal, the loss of his parents, and the uncertainty of his future pressed down on him, threatening to crush him entirely.

But even in his sorrow, a flicker of hope remained.  The love and loyalty of his Hyung, though tarnished, was still a beacon in the darkness, a promise of forgiveness, a testament to the enduring power of their bond.

He knew that time, and perhaps a little bit of understanding, would be needed to heal the wounds of betrayal.  But he also knew that the love he shared with Jimin, a bond forged in trust and loyalty, was strong enough to withstand the storm.
