"But I saw it first!" I complained, as I attempted to reach for the Smarties that was held up by Luke high in the air.
"Well I grabbed it first!" Luke answered back, a stubborn look was plastered on his face. I let out a frustrated sigh, as I hit his shoulder hard.
"Jerk." I muttered, as I finally turned around to look for more chocolates. Clearly, that last piece of Smarties was mine, since I saw it first, but it wasn't my fault that he had these very long arms.
I look through the aisles, and I actually found some chocolates that I liked - well, obviously not as much as I liked Smarties - but Kit Kats and M&Ms are pretty good as well.
I grabbed loads of those, and stuffed it inside my shopping cart, before moving to the next aisle. Without even realizing, I ended up having tons of chips, fruits, juice boxes, and maybe some extra chips again.
Thankfully, Luke didn't bother to disturb me this time. I really didn't know what had gotten into his mind, so his band literally followed us around.
We were already out for like three hours, and these boys wouldn't leave us alone. They were like these 5 year olds who keeps on nagging and annoy the shit out of people.
I sighed and poked my face around, aware of the boy I had been avoiding for the past three hours - which I seem to fail miserably. I sighed a took a step back.
"Boo!" A voice rang loudly, making my phone slipped out of my hand. I furrowed my eyebrows, as I turned my body around, only to see Luke laughing his ass off.
His eyes squinted as he threw his head back, laughing. His right hand was holding onto one of the aisles, and his left hand was on his stomach, as if it was the funniest thing ever.
I frowned at this, before I bent down to take my phone from the floor. Of course I brought it up and checked if it was cracked or not, but thankfully, it still looked like it was supposed to be.
"Fuck you! Ugh, stop bothering me will you?' I growled angrily, as I grabbed the nearest thing around me - which happen to be a pack of tampon - and launched it on his face.
"Ouch! Hey!" Luke groaned in pain, as his hand quickly went to his jaw, where the box hit him square.
"Seriously, leave!" I snapped one last time, before I turned around again, and pushed my cart to the cashier with me.
The frown on my face never left, as I waited the girl to scan my things. He thought what he did what funny? Well it wan't for me. I thought he hated us so much last time, and now they decided to follow us around.
"That'll be $56." The girl said with a happy voice, her short blondr hair bobbed up and down as she spoke. Cringe.
I sighed and took out the credit card from my purse, and hand it to her. I tapped my foot impatiently, as I looked around to see Zoe or Karen.
I actually felt bad for leaving Clover behind, but we really didn't want to wake her up, since she was like, a dragon in the morning.
"Uh, sorry, but I think you don't have enough money here." The girl said, interrupting my thoughts, as she handed me the card.
"What?" I narrowed my eyes at the card, taking it from the girl's hand. I double checked the card, and realized it was my old one. My eyes widened, because I didn't bring my purse with me.
"I'll pay." A familiar voice annouced from my back, making me turn my body around.
Luke was right behind me, as he walked to my right with the pack of Smarties on his other hand. He casually gave the girl his credit card, before he turned his head to met my eyes.
"What are you doing?" I asked stupidly, as I glaced to the card, and back to his blue eyes again.
"Uh, paying?" Luke said like it was the most obvious thing ever. I rolled my eyes, and looked back at my things.
"Um, actually, it's fine you don't need to do it." I mumbled, feeling like it was too much if he really payed for me.
I began to take my steps back, pushing the cart with me as I moved. But what I didn't expect was, Luke suddenly grabbed my arms and pulled me back beside him.
"I'm paying and that's final." He told me sternly, and gave me a look. I narrowed my eyes at him, because I thought we hated each other justca couple seconds ago.
I didn't reply, as the girl started to bag my things. Luke just stood there, eating Smarties as he kept on glancing to me and my things at some point.
"Remind me to pay you back later." I said quietly, as the girl handed me my things. I grabbed it from her, and turned around to start walking.
"Nah, you don't need to." Luke told me, as he took a step to walk beside me. I turned my head to him, and look over like he just grew another head.
"Did the tampons hit you well?" I wondered sarcastically, as he gave me a warning look.
"I don't even get a thank you?" Luke smirked, as he looked down at me just a bit, since he was slightly taller than me.
I rolled my eyes at him, as the smirk on his face grew wider.
"Thank you." I spoke with sarcasm dripping in my voice. Luke laughed at me, before he grabbed my things from my hold, and quickly strode away from me, approaching Calum.
My eyes widened, as I stared at his back blankly. Okay, what the fuck just happened earlier?
