Chapter 2 Purple and Blue

I was walking down the street with my sister Sarah when I saw my friend Lacey at the crosswalk. "Hey, Lacey!" I called out. I was holding my sister's hand and started speeding up my pace. I was practically dragging her. 

"Hey, Brie! Hey Sarah!" She said when we got to the crosswalk. "Hi!" Sarah said back. "Want to come over to my place?" I said. "Sure! My parents will still be at work and I don't have any siblings to look after so I'd love to!" 

We walked to my house and on the way, I saw something shiny. Just before Lacey stepped on it I called to her "Lacey wait!" I screamed. Lacey stopped and turned around giving me a confused look. I pointed to the two shiny gems she was about to step on. She picked them up and said, "What do we do with them?" All of a sudden Brianna appeared out of nowhere screaming "I CAN HELP!" Tina was right behind her, Lacey screamed and Sarah jumped. 

Brianna has an uncanny ability of popping out of nowhere... and an amazing ability of a whole lot of energy. "Where do you come from?" I questioned "I'm always around," she said in a voice that kinda made me a little spooked. She pulled out two necklace chains and took the crystals. She put each crystal on a necklace and gave them back to us. It was at this moment I realized that down the street, Sarah was walking up to our house. I can't believe I forgot her. "You guys wanna go over to my house?" I said. "Sure!" Blythe said doing her half skip half run to my house. "Tina?" I questioned "Yeah I go where she goes. But I'm gonna call her sister. We don't need our family calling the cops about our disappearance when we're really at a friend's house. Blythe, Tina, Lacey, and Me are all really good friends. Lacey and I took off running already knowing that it was a race. Tina started chasing after us. 

This is just a normal day... Or so I thought.
