Erik was not only a Platinum rapper, he also owned his own record label; Golden Jaguar Records™ He had three albums out and was working on his fourth. He was 28 and living his best life. From touring in Japan to Berlin, Erik was at the top of his career. Erik was a simple man who enjoyed takeout and Anime.
"Kill, that artist should have been here. Where the hell is she?!" Eriks producer Sean said to Erik who was lounging on the couch smoking and watching Naruto.

"Shit if I know" Erik shrugged

"Shit if I know" Erik shrugged. Kill, Killmonger, King Killmonger was his stage name(s).
"Well you should probably call her before I say fuck it and go home to my family. Time is money"
"Then sitting here with me should be no problem since I'm paying you" Erik quipped.
Just then, there was a soft knock at the door and in walked a beautiful black woman. About 5'5, 130 pounds. She had smooth light caramel skin that glowed under the studio lights. She had braids down to her butt. She wore a pair of grey biker shorts and a Itachi Uchiha tie dye tshirt. She had platform vans on her feet and carried a boho woven crossbody.
"I'm so sorry for being late. I got lost" she shut the door behind her and sat her purse on the chair by the door.
"It's all good, ma" Erik looked her up and down.
"Yea, go warm up. I charge by half hours" Sean said with an attitude.
"Fuck him. You can warm up" Erik stood up to shake her hand. "I'm Erik, this is my producer Sean"
"I'm Shantel. Nice to meet you both" she smiled nervously and walked into the booth.
"Where the hell you find this girl?" Sean asked.
"Twitter. She was covering a song for Jhene and killed that shit. I hit her up and invited her down here"
"So she's unsigned?"
"Yea" Erik passed Sean the joint.
Both men watched and listened to Shantel warming up in the booth. Her voice was melodic and heavenly. Soft and smooth.
"She fine as fuck too" Erik observed.
"You like that? I thought you liked women who was more out there"
"She seemed humble in DM's. At first she didn't want to come down here. She said she sung for fun"
"Are y'all ready for me to sing?" Shantel asked. Sean clicked the button to talk back to her.
"Yea, sweetheart. Go ahead"
"Okay" she smiled. The music started and she closed her eyes.
"You don't like when I get on your case
Talkin' to me like you can't be replaced
Now you're disruptin' my peace
Fuck out my way, boy, I'm just tryna leave
'Cause I ain't got nothing for no one
Boy, I'm so blue, gotta roll some
Actin' like I was the only one
Clearly one woman is not enough for you
You, you, you, you, oh
So I'm through, through, through, so through
Really I thought you was solid
You turned around and you folded
I should've took that advice
Went and had sex with your guys
Just to get even tonight, ay
I'm way too loyal for you and it's crazy
Oh, baby, I could've destroyed you
You actin' careless right now
But don't hit me when all them new bitches ignore you
Yeah, I know that it's comin' one day
You gon' do you either way
We gotta break up
I don't wanna be with a man, if he ain't gon' have my interest (no, no)
I don't want your love anymore 'cause you don't take this serious (no, no)
I don't wanna talk things out, I've already heard your story
It's the same old lies
You know you niggas ain't right, gotta cut you out of my life"
