Harry's POV

"Are you sure you guys are good with it?" I asked after we all got situated on the pull out couch-beds.

"It's beautiful, Harry," Louis remarked, turning his head to look at me.

"Yeah, I love it!" Liam enthused, Niall nodding in agreement.

"Cause uh, I have something else kinda, um, more light, not as uh, depressing... But I'm sure it sucks, I wrote it during um, x-factor... And I never finished it..." I rambled nervously.

"I'm sure it doesn't" Niall said with a smirk.

"You've never played anything terrible babe, we'd love to hear it," Louis brushed my hair behind my ear, making my heart flutter.

"Okay, one sec," I carefully get out of the makeshift bed and grab my guitar that was leaning against the all.

"Don't make fun of me, 'Kay?" I laugh nervously, adjusting the capo and taking a seat back next to Louis.

"We would never," Louis smiled up at me. I quickly kissed his forehead before locking my eyes into his, playing the first chords of the song I wrote when I was sixteen, and falling in love with him.

"Harry, that was the most adorable song I've ever heard," Liam beamed at me.

"I loved it, I love you," Louis sighed, leaning in to kiss my neck, causing me to shiver.

"Thanks guys, I'm glad you all like it. I don't have a beginning but we can figure that out later," I stand to lean my guitar against the wall, then climb back in to the makeshift bed to snuggle up to Louis.

"Yeah, it's awesome. Thank you for saving the day!" Niall celebrated.

"Oh, please," I laughed, Louis put his arm around my waist and pulled me in closer, gently, being careful with my back.

Liam reached for the remote and put the TV on low, so we weren't in the complete darkness.

"I'm exhausted, we should rest, those clowns will be here at seven," Niall suggested, looking at his watch.

"Yeah, goodnight boys," Louis spoke, paying down into the bed and pulling the blankets to his chin.

"Night," Liam responded, laying down as well.

I laid myself down on my side to face Louis, who was on his side facing me.

"I love you," I whispered, bringing my hand up to gently stroke his face.

"I love you," He whispered in response, closing his eyes.

I close my eyes, but open them after a few minutes when I hear Louis whispering my name.

"Yeah baby?" I ask, eyes still shut and voice thick from sleep.

"Cuddle?" He whispered, making me smile through my exhaustion.

"Come here," I open my arms for him to come close, eyes still closed. I feel him press his back into my chest, and I wrap my arms around him, being gentle near his chest.

"I love you so much babe," I whisper against his neck, then leaving a kiss.

☀️ The next day

Louis' POV

I wake up to one of our phones ringing obnoxiously, making me in a terrible mood.

"Fuck! Shut that shit up! I sit up and scream after a moment.

"Ugh, hello?" Liam answered, ignoring my morning drama.

"Babe, shh," I look down to Harry, who's laid on his stomach, spread out. I don't say anything, I just trace gentle patterns on his shoulders through his hoodie.

"They're on their way," Liam announced, hanging up the phone.

"FUCK THIS!" Niall hollered, earning a nod in agreement from me.

"Lou, tell them I'm busy," Harry covered his head with a pillow, making me laugh.

"Harry, we can't just tell them you're busy every time we have a meeting," Niall joked, making everyone laugh.

"You're right though. Fuck this. Why couldn't they have waiting 'til at least noon? They have to know we won't be productive this early in the morning," Harry sat up, ranting and tugging at his hair.

"It's true," Liam shrugged, cleaning up his bed so there's a couch for these shit bags to sit on.

"I'm starting coffee. Lou, tea?" Harry asked me in a kind voice.

"No thank you baby, I think I'm going to need more caffeine today," I smiled at his thoughtfulness.

He kissed the top of my head and went to the kitchen, starting the coffee.

"Are you guys getting dressed?" Liam asked, standing confusedly in the middle of the room.

"Fuck no," Harry spoke from the kitchen, making us all burst into laughter.

"Sorry, I need my caffeine before I am able to think before I speak," Harry added, laughing at himself.

"Haha, but yeah I'm not," I said while folding blankets and neatening our area.

"Yeah, fuck all that," Niall replied, putting things away.

"Alright," Liam shrugged, walking to the kitchen.

"Coffee's done," Harry said, pouring it into four mugs on the counter. He had already set up the cream, sugar, and stirring spoons on the table.

I was the last to get to the kitchen. Harry handed me my coffee already made the way I like it.

"Thanks baby," I kiss his cheek, making him smile.

"Enjoy the calm before the storm," Niall said as we all sat at the kitchen island, sipping our coffee in silence.
