TRIGGER WARNING: Descriptions of flashback, including hallucinations, panic attack, Sexual Assault (hinted at through hallucinations), unintentional(ish) self-harm, trust issues, mild internalized homophobia (brief), Gore, Food (like two words), nausea (no vomiting), Star Wars (I know this warning seems odd, but its a trigger of mine, so I included it)

Nico was nervous. He and Will had decided that they would be having a Star Wars marathon weeks ago, yet only now was Nico regretting it.

They had started at the beginning of the day and were now onto the newest film. Nico had been feeling jittery since the beginning, and now he felt like he had fire beneath his skin. He didn't have ADHD like other demigods, so he knew it couldn't be that but still...he was probably making it up. It was far passed lights out, yet Will was insistent that they finish. Nico, despite knowing that it was ok, grimaced a little upon seeing two of the female pilots kiss onscreen. He wished he hadn't, internally berating himself for being such an asshole, not to mention a hypocrite. He and Will have been dating for nearly a year now. What was wrong with him?

The movie ended, and Will yawned, grazing Nico's shoulder with his fist. Nico jumped, heart pounding, or had it already been beating that fast? "Oh, sorry, Neeks" Will smiled apologetically, standing. "I'm gonna go get changed; tell me when I can come out, please?" Will asked, grabbing his bag full of stuff. He had brought snacks as well as the movies and his pyjamas. Nico just nodded, not having enough air in his lungs to speak. He shifted slightly to lean on his hands so Will wouldn't notice their shaking.

Will walked into the Hades cabin bathroom, closing the door behind him, and Nico let out a breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding. He stood, changing as quickly as he could with his trembling hands before shaking them out and pacing, trying to disperse the twisting feeling in his gut. His stomach felt fluttery, but he wasn't sure why. It didn't feel the same as the butterflies he got from Will. If anything, it felt more sickly, like his stomach was preparing to get stabbed, loosening the muscle to make it hurt less, centralizing his blood to clot the oncoming wound.

Will knocked on the bathroom door. "Can I come out now?" He asked. Nico had almost forgotten he was here...here? The Hades cabin, right...what had he been doing? Something about- "Neeks?" Right. "U-uh ya! You can uh...you're good, I'm good," Nico said, quickly shoving his hands in his pockets to keep from fidgeting, rocking on his heels instead.

Will opened the bathroom door, smiling at Nico. "You look lovely as ever," he said, gesturing to Nico's inside out top. "Ah- cazzo," Nico cursed, pulling at his shirt to see the raw seam. Will chuckled, walking towards Nico's bed. "D'you wanna fix it, or are you good?" Will asked, sitting on the bed. They had agreed beforehand that they'd share. Nico shook his head. It was okay, and he didn't like the feeling of the rough edges anyway. Nico followed Will to the large bed. His father was the god of riches, after all.

"You want the wall?" Will asked, giving Nico no hint as to what he'd prefer, making Nico curse internally. He decided to assume that since Will offered the wall and not the outside, he didn't want the wall. "Sure," Nico said, deciding on a shrug to seem nonchalant, aloof. Will nodded, getting up and stepping aside so Nico could climb in. Once Nico was settled under the dark comforter and fluffy blanket, Will climbed in, keeping room between himself and Nico, though it was only about three inches, so Nico could still feel the heat radiating off his skin. 'He can probably feel how cold I am,' Nico cursed at himself.

"Night, Death Boy," Will said, turning so his back was to Nico. Nico chose not to respond instead of shifting to face the wall. Will clicked off the lamp, and the new darkness filled Nico's lungs. He had decided not to mention the nightlight he usually kept on, opting to hide it under his bed in shame. He commanded the darkness. He did not fear it! Yet, he was regretting that now as he found it difficult to breathe. He was now even more aware of his pounding heart, drumming loudly in his ears and thumping against his chest and throat. He could suddenly no longer feel the heat of his boyfriend behind him and resisted the urge to turn and make sure he was still there. His mind screamed at him that the second he turned, there would be danger. He could hear his sister's voices begging him not to move but sounding angry as they said it, scolding and pleading all at once, giving him whiplash, "Don't move, Nico, please! You're going to die, you're going to die, you're going to-" Bianca screamed in one ear. "It'll kill you, Nico! Please! Don't move! It'll hurt so much! Please stop moving, Nico!" Hazel begged, and Nico could feel his head turn to look around, despite him still seeing the wall. He wasn't sure if he didn't turn his head or didn't see the wall, but he was too scared to move his hand to check, to feel the walls cold texture. "Don't move! Don't-" His sisters seemed to agree with him, though they still sounded angry.
