Team 5: With Iwabe, Denki and Metal Lee

"Man, another animal rescue mission." Iwabe pouted as Denki, Metal Lee and I joined him at the booth at Lightning Burger. "I want to have more serious missions! Saving animals is not the only thing we can do!"

"Iwabe, we've only been Genin for a short time. So of course Lord Seventh will appoint us to just D-rank missions. We still have a lot to learn, you know?" I took a sip of my drink after lecturing my comrade.

"Miko's right Iwabe." Denki added. "However, if we keep up the hard work, maybe we'll get promoted to working on C-rank missions."

Iwabe scoffed and crossed his arms. "I already know that Miko-chan. I'm just stating my opinion."

"I'm okay with the missions we're currently put in." Metal said while taking a bite of his burger. "But at the same time, I guess it doesn't hurt to do something more."

I shook my head towards Metal. "Knowing you, you'd most likely get nervous and freak out if someone were to watch you fight Metal."

"S-S-So!? I-I-I won't f-freak out!" Metal stuttered. "B-Besides, I'm okay with you guys!"

"But it took you a while to get used to our presence since the four of us is a team." Denki said as he slowly packed his belongings away. "Sorry to cut our lunch short together, but I have to get back to Kaminaron Company to work on some stuff for Father."

"Huh? But we just got here!" Iwabe shouted, stuffing his face with his burger.

"Sorry again! But I got to go!" With that, Denki got up from his seat and immediately left Lightning Burger without giving us a chance to protest.

"Sheesh...Denki's sure in a rush." I said, continuing to take a sip of my drink. "I wonder what he and his father are currently working on."

"I remembered he mentioned about a power plant and visitors from other lands coming to check it out." Metal said suddenly.

"Huh?! When did he mention this!?" I yelled, unaware that Denki brought this up to us.

Metal gave me a surprised look. "I'm pretty sure he mentioned this yesterday. Were you not paying attention Miko-san?"

I blushed in embarrassment at the sudden realization that I was not paying attention to what Denki was telling us. "I-I guess not..."

Iwabe suddenly had a smirk across his face. "That's because Miko-chan was most likely thinking about Shikadai."

Metal too had a smirk across his face as he and Iwabe both raised their eyebrows. My face grew hotter because it was most likely true. "S-Shut up you two..."

"Look Metal, she's blushing." Iwabe teased, pointing towards me and looking to his left.

"Miko-san you are pretty red." Metal added.

I slammed my drink onto the table and glared at them. "I-I have a reason to why I was distracted at the time!"

It was true. I probably did think about Shikadai yesterday. I noticed Shikadai's behavior has been pretty off within the past month. Even heard from Boruto that Team 10 has been messing up on their missions too. Cho-Cho and Inojin even brought up their concern about Shikadai's well-being.
