Not Your Average Love Story

Chapter 1

Olivia

         It was just a normal day. You know dealing with the death of your mother, having to do everything because your father has gone crazy, literally having no money to have a funeral for your mother, and debating whether or not to turn into an alcoholic. But, that's just turning into a normal thing now.

   " OLIVIA!!! Go get me some more beer at the shop I'm running low." my Dad shouted.

" Okay Dad, are you gonna give me some money or will I just have to figure it out." Most of the time figuring it out most meant stealing it but luckily the shop owner is old so it's become easy, almost cruel of how it's so easy.

" I'm short on cash so just figure it out," said Dad.

"Okay", I make my way out the door feeling bad about what I will soon have to do.

Soon, I arrive at the nearest shop the owner is in his late 60s, and every time I have to steal something I always feel so bad but my dad is already drunk and if I don't get him more he would probably just get mad and beat me like the last time I stood up to him and didn't get him any beer.              

I walk into the store luckily the store was busy so I just walked in then walked out and he never noticed. I make my back to my house when soon I see a person on my doorstep.

It didn't seem crazy because there were always kids coming up to our doorstep asking if we wanted to buy some cookies but this was different. When I got closer I saw some red liquid dripping down from the black figure. I started running up to the figure, when I got closer I touched it and the figure just flopped over, exposing the figure's face.

This wasn't just some random person who got themselves in a sticky position looking for help.

This was a prince.
