young love.
it was a tragic thing in and of its self, whether or not you were on opposite sides of a deadly war.
isobel and draco died in each other's arms, her last words ringing clearer than anything else in his ears. 'i love you.' a final tear streaming down his cheek, he manages to get out, 'i'm sorry, belly.'
it wasn't fair. neither had had a choice. they were children. they didn't get to fulfill their daydreams, or their fantasies of a future together. they had a life together ahead of them. a life full of love and happiness.
if only the cottage had come sooner. if only a war between lovers never existed in the first place. if only they had the chance to say goodbye.
whether you'd like to think of their tale as one of love, or of heartbreak, or tragedy- it all ends the same. maybe that should be a lesson you take away from this. it always ends the same. but, if they had just a little more time, i'm completely sure that their story would've ended much differently. that's what is so unfair about this. about love.
you cannot control when it ends.
you would not expect them to fall so hopelessly in love with each other. from childhood, they were conditioned to hate each other. however, i suppose sometimes opposites attract.
isobel and draco died on opposite sides of our story. their souls, however, are finally reunited in positivity and radiance, forever.
