I love you more that a friend- Hinata

Have you ever been in love? Well have you ever been in love with a friend? It's not that easy, because what if they reject you? It might ruin your friendship with them, but there is also that thought that lingers in the back of your mind if they might actually like you and you could be a couple. Right now that's the problem that I (y/n) is facing. You see I'm in love with my best friend Shoyo Hinata. We have been friends for almost 7 years and I even studied in Karasuno High just so we could still be together.

I just fell in love with him the moment I saw him fly. It was the day of the try outs at the Karsuno High Volleyball club,I decided to surprise him and give him some support.

I went to the volleyball club's court to check out on how Hinata was doing, he told me that he was practicing with this boy named Kageyama. He told me how annoying he is, but he was super good and he wanted to play more with him.

I saw that the doors were open and I could hear the sound of the ball hitting the floorboards and the guys shouting. I peeked my head at the door and saw Hinata playing. I saw how the ball was passed to him and in a flash he ran and he jumped. He jumped high, he looked like he was flying then I saw him hit the ball. I have never seen him play, well the reason is he never really wanted me to go. He told me that when he got to the semi- finals he would, but his team never made it. I never knew he could jump that high, he was amazing. I saw that everyone had the same expression as me, everyone was impressed and shocked. I couldn't help but cheer for him.

"Yeah! That was amazing!" I shouted. Everyone turned to look at me. I saw Hinata turn and when he looked at me and smiled, his eyes looked like it disappeared and he scratched the back of his head as if he was embarrassed, he looked so... adorable.

The moment I saw him fly, was also the moment I fell for him.

I sighed at the memory as I lay in my bed. I wanted to tell him how I feel, I want to let him know how much he amazes me, how much I love him, more than a friend. I shook my head and covered myself with the very warm and nice smelling blanket. I should probably tell him how I feel. It would be better to do something you would regret, than not do something and regret it. I made up my mind. I (y/n)(l/n) will tell Shoyo Hinata how I feel.

I got out of bed to make a confession letter. I wrote then I threw it away on the bin, then I repeated that for probably 14 times. I groaned and leaned back on my chair. "I didn't know it would be this hard to create a piece of letter." I should just make it short, something like 'Shoyo Hinata, I love you more than a friend' ,and I would just say the other parts in person.

I spent the whole night creating the letter. I wanted my handwriting to be perfect, I wanted to make the letter beautiful so that it could express the feeling that I couldn't say in person. I put the letter in an envelope and tuck it neatly in a book and put it in my bag. I could feel my heart pounding from my chest imagining what would happen. I shook my head and took a deep breath, either way at least I would be able to tell him how I feel and not just keep it to myself. The rest, I will figure out later.

When I arrived at school I saw Hinata parking his bike and rushing to the volleyball court. I shook my head, he loves volleyball too much... it's adorable. I followed after him to the volleyball court after I fixed my things, it's a good thing I arrived earlier than usual today. Maybe it's just cause I didn't sleep last night. I feel exhausted, but it would be worth it.

I entered the volleyball court and saw Hinata practicing his jumps. I leaned my head at the steel door frame that felt cold beside my arms. I could just watch him for hours it's like he's in his own world where he belongs, I smiled. I walked up near him and called out to him. "Hey Hinata!" I smiled and I saw how he got startled and suddenly fell on his behind. I laughed and put my hands on my knees to support myself. "You get scared too easily" I shook my head. He rubbed his behind as he got up. "You promised you would never do that." I smiled at him and wrapped my arms around his shoulder, " I'm sorry, It's just too funny"i noticed  that he looked a little tired, but I just shook it off, he was probably up all night thinking about past and upcoming matches.He looked at me and shook his head, he then suddenly smiled at me and it has a mischievous glint to it. I narrowed my eyes at him, suspicious of whatever is going on in that head of his. "Play with me (y/n)" He said, smiling as he put both arms on his waist.
