You texted Kenma, "Where are you? I've been waiting out here for a couple minutes now." Guessing he spent all night playing video games and ended up oversleeping, you went and knocked on his door. You stood there for a couple of seconds until a blonde, messy haired boy opened the door. "Oh, hey y/n.. what are you doing here?" He asked you while yawning. You answered, "Kenma! We were supposed to go to a lunch date downtown!" His eyes widened, "We were? You didn't tell me." You told him "I did tell you..a week ago.. and you said sure. We were supposed to go eat downtown.. just us two, remember?" He asked you, "I forgot but, do you really want to go y/n?" You did, but you felt bad for waking up Kenma, so you told him that you didn't really care if you guys went. That left the choice to Kenma, if he wanted to go or not. "y/n.. is it fine if we stay here?" You bit your lip and sighed, "Yeah, we can stay here."You ended up making lunch for the two of you. You made spaghetti, perfect serving size for two people. You made it from scratch, following your grandmas recipe. Kenma helped a little and then went back to his games, but a little of help is better than no help. "Here you go. Lunch is served!" You said happily. You took the first bite and thought that it was super good, the way the warm spaghetti entered your mouth smoothly and the flavors complimented each other nicely. "Thanks y/n for making lunch.. sorry we couldn't go out." He told you before taking another bite. You told him, "It's fine! I mean I got to spend time with you either way so, I'm happy." You gave him a warm smile.
After you guys ate together, the both of you watched a couple of episodes of your favorite show. It was nice spending time with Kenma. While watching, you turned and looked at him. You admired his blonde hair with brown roots and his golden eyes. You had a feeling in your heart."No.. i'm- i don't like Kenma.. Do i?" you wondered to yourself. You felt this feeling once before. When you liked Kenmas other best friend, Kuroo.
