Camp North Star

Chapter 1: The First day

"Mom! Is breakfast ready? "asked Luna, Luna was a 15-year-old girl, a brunette with long hair, she loved to dance and swim. "Yes, come down," said her mom. "Hurry up or you'll be late for camp," she said. Luna was going to be at camp all summer, hopefully having fun, she wasn't too excited, but a couple of her friends were also going so she decided to go too.

I should also mention I(Luna) have asthma and I have asthma attacks if I overexert myself, but I've learnt to control it due to the fact I play a lot of sports. I don't like people knowing I have asthma because they tend to be very cautious around me like they're walking on eggshells. A lot happened at my last school causing me and my family to have to move.

After 5 long hours in the car, they finally reached camp, she said bye to her dad and entered the camp. It seemed big. She could see that it was divided into 2 parts, on both sides, there were 4 cabins, in total 8 cabins, each with a different color. She figured that 1 side was for boys and the other side was for girls. Then there was a big building.... probably the main hall. After wandering around for about 10 minutes, she found the office.

Luna: "Hi, I'm Luna .... where can I get the details of where I'll be staying?"

Clarice: "Hi Luna, I'm Clarice, you can come to me if u need anything, I'm also the head counselor. We have two other counselors 1 for the girl's side and 1 for the boys.

Luna: "Oh, ok. Where will I be staying?"

Clarice: "Right,"

*gives her a light blue band bracelet *

Luna: "You may have noticed that each cabin has a different color, everybody at camp gets a color and that is the cabin you're assigned to."

Luna: "Ok, that's cool. Is that all?"

Clarice: "One last thing, there will be one leader in the cabin, generally is according to who's the oldest. She will also help you and explain the activities that we have."

Luna: "Ok, thank you. I'll go to my cabin now. Bye!"

I enter the cabin, and there are 3 girls, and 2 bunk beds(4 beds)

The first girl, who seemed to be the leader was a brunette with emerald green eyes. She had a great figure looked very athletic. She was wearing black jean shorts and a purple tank top. The second girl was shorter, slim, and slender. She had brown hair and greyish eyes. She was wearing black jeans and a white crop top. The third girl had ginger hair and blue eyes, she was wearing blue mom jeans, a white t-shirt, and a blue jacket on top.

*the conversation once Luna entered*

Luna: "Hi!"

1st girl: "Hey, you must be Luna. Clarice told me you were coming, I'm Jade, 17 years old. I'm the leader for the blue cabin. I'll explain the activities and what the camp games are later."

Luna: "Hi Jade, it's nice to meet you."

2nd girl: "Hi Luna, I'm Valerie but you can call me Val, 16 years old. I'm very competitive by the way."

3rd girl: "And I'm Ella, 15 years old. I love to swim and run. This is also my 1st time here."

Luna: "Really!? I love to swim too!!"

Ella: "That's great we should swim in the lake sometime."

Luna: "Of course"

Jade: "Ok, now you will have the low bunk underneath Ella and you can unpack your suitcase. If u want hot water u might want to shower early. "

Luna: "Ok, um now could you explain what the Camp Games are?"

Jade: "Right, every year on the second week of camp all the cabins compete against each other, there'll be 3 rounds. In the last round, it will be the winner between the boys and the winner with the girls."

Luna: "That's cool, but is there a prize?"

Jade: "Yeah actually, the cabin that wins gets extra smores and hot water"

Luna: "That's......GREAT!!!!"

Jade: *chuckles* "Great to see you so excited"

Lune: "hehe, I'm gonna go explore the camp now, ttyl"

Jade: "Alright, bye."

*Hey, this is definitely very random, cuz it was in my drafts so I decided to fix it up a bit and actually publish it. I'm just posting this for my own satisfaction and so that I can be happy and say that I did something in quarantine*
