Y/N POV
I found myself frozen, staring for a spare moment.
His features are quite different from how they were when we met.. I can finally see him better.
He was tall, well built, and surprisingly more handsome than I'd predicted. He looked as if he was around my age, maybe a year or two older, and just under 6ft tall. His eyes were slim but wide. They had a gentle, comforting look to them. His jaw was well shaped and suited his face well. My eyes glanced down at his lips for a second. They looked soft. His skin seemed pale, but it complimented his other features well. His hair was significantly darker than the hue of his skin, but of course, I didn't know its natural color. It was long-ish, but didn't come too far past the tops of his ears. It looked good on him.
I watched as he peacefully studied the book in his hands. Before I could realize, his eyes had already met mine, and a small, faint smirk was plastered on his face to show off his dimples. I immediately looked away, hoping he maybe didn't catch me staring.
Ah, how awkward this must be...
I remained turned away from him, getting distracted with a book whose title caught my attention.
'Monochromatic U.'
I flipped through the soft, fresh pages. The book's thick, well crafted cover was fairly new, looking like it had maybe been released not long ago. I looked at the inside of the cover, looking for a description.
It's... blank?
"I've been searching for that book everywhere, yet you happened to come upon it by accident."
I flipped around upon hearing the low, husk yet soft and warm voice of a man from behind me.
Him. It was him.
Instead of looking nervous, my surprised stare turned to a blank, expressionless one.
"Here, you can take it," I said, extending it toward him.
He stared at me for a moment longer, almost in disbelief.
"Do you not recognize me?" He asked.
For a slight moment, I felt my eyes get lost in his deep, dark ones.
It felt odd.
I don't ever remember noticing how beautiful his eyes were.
