Camp North Star

Chapter 2: Exploring Camp

I leave the cabin after unpacking a few of my stuff and talking to Ella for a bit. While I walk around I notice a few extra cabin-like building but they seemed a little bit bigger, they weren't the boys' cabins, main hall, or office so I decided to check them out.

Once I reached the cabins I noticed a sign on each one. The first said "Arts & Crafts", I feel like I should've guessed that a camp would have had an Arts and Crafts area. I moved to the next building which had a sign saying "Storage", did they really have that many things I wondered.

I walked over to the last building there, well u couldn't exactly call it a building it was a gazebo, it was further and more secluded than the rest of the buildings, there were fairy lights around it but unfortunately, they weren't lit, I kept a mental note to come here again at night when it hopefully will have been lit.

I start walking towards the boys' cabins since I haven't been there, I see a bunch of guys walking around talking to each other or running other, I didn't notice where I was walking and bumped into a tall guy.

*Convo between me and him*

Luna: "I am so so so so so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going an-"

Tall guy: "Calm down, it's fine"

Luna: "Sorry, I was rambling"

Tall guy: "Stop saying sorry! It's fine. I'm Dylan by the way"

Luna: "I'm Luna"

Dylan: "Hi Luna, are you new? Cause I haven't seen you around here"

Luna: "Yeah I'm new, it's my 1st day here so I thought I would explore"

Dylan: "That's good, I have to go now, my friends are probably waiting for me but I hope I see you around"

Luna: "Okay bye!"

He seemed nice plus he cute. I started walking towards the lake, it's a lot bigger than it seems, I'm gonna have to swim here soon. Ahh, so many things to do but I'm excited so yay.

*Back in the cabin while talking to Ella*

Luna: "Hey Ella"

Ella: "Hi Luna...I saw you talking to Dylan"

Luna: "Yeah, I bumped into him. He seems really nice, but how'd you know I was talking to him?"

Ella: "Oh, I saw you talking to each other near the boys' cabins"

Luna: "Oh, okay...."

*Luna and Ella continue talking until Jade and Val comes in*

Jade: "Hey guys"

Luna&Ella: "Heyy"

Jade: "Its time for dinner, come on"

*Blue cabin enters the main hall*

Val: "Ugh its meatloaf, I hate meatloaf"

Luna: "Is it really that bad?"

Jade: "No, not actually, Val just doesn't like meatloaf in general"

Luna: "Ok, that's good"

*Blue sits on a table after getting their food*

The food is pretty good, I see Dylan sitting with his cabin, I just realized that he's in Black. He waved at me and I waved back....wait a minute, Why the heck am I blushing, Luna stop blushing, Great now I have to stare at the ground until I stop.

Finally stopped, anyways I barely touched my food so ill get out of my thoughts.

*After lunch back in the cabin*

Jade: "Luna, I forgot to tell you, every Friday we have a bonfire where we roast marshmallows"

Luna: "That's cool, I can't wait to eat smores"

Val: "Luna we don't know much about you, tell u about urself"

Luna: "Uhh, okay. I go to South East High; I love to swim and dance. I have an older brother, he's in college right now and yea that's basically it"

Val: "There's gotta be more. Allergies, boyfriends, friends"

Luna: "Well, I'm not allergic to anything, and I never really had a boyfriend and when it comes to friends I'm not exactly very social so I didn't have a lot of friends."

Val: "Oh okay, well now we're you, friends. But I still need to know more, any past drama in your life? Any accidents? Anything really. "

Luna: "Not really, well I only moved here this year but other than that nothing."

Val: "Ugh, okay"

If only they knew what happened before....
