It was officially one week from his birthday. Currently, he walked into a prestigious restaurant looking for his date.
He asked him out for breakfast last minute since they had just been texting for three days now. He walked up to a waister and cleared his throat.
"Excuse me, I'm with a Kim Namjoon." He says. She nods and leads him to a table where a man with grayish dyed hair sat with a cup of tea while flipping through a book.
"Namjoon?" He looked up and closed the book and smiles at him.
"Jimin? Wow, you came." He stood up and pulled out Jimin's chair and he was flattered.
"Of course, why wouldn't I." He smiles and thanked him while he sat down. Namjoon was handsome, tall, respectful. He learned the last part from texting him.
"I'm glad you weren't busy this morning." He sips his coffee and Jimin smiles.
"Of course not, It's Saturday, I'm moving apartments so my friend is helping me go shopping for new furniture later. Normally I'd just take my son out or just hang with my best friend." Namjoon nods understandably and fans the waiter. He ordered french toast and jimin orders pancakes. They had mild chatter until the waiter came back around.
"So do you like working for Taehyung?" Jimin rolled his eyes while taking advantage of the strawberry syrup available to him.
"His pay, work hours, and workload is amazing. But he himself is horrible. He's a big bully with anger issues and a bad attitude." He stopped to put some of his food in his mouth. "Though im one to talk about attitude." He laughs and so does Namjoon.
"As a business partner, he did help me a lot since I just started about a year ago. Otherwise, I haven't really talked to him about anything beyond business. Plus he told me you were his best secretary... do you know what his important announcement is?" Jimin blanked out at the best secretary part and cleared his throat.
"A-I don't know of any announcement. Wait I'm his best secretary?" Namjoon hummed.
"It was that one business meeting. you were doing something I don't know he said you were the best secretary he's ever hired. For him to say that you must be a good worker." Jimin blushed
"Well, I am a hard diligent worker..." He laughs.
"I see that." He flirts "so your son? What is he into?"
"Oh, sunji. He's taking piano lessons after school. But other than that he can't do much because of his allergies and asthma. I tried to make him watch sports but he's not into that and you're not supposed to force anything on your kids so I didn't." Namjoon was impressed by his great parenting skills.
"Naeun is only three but she's so adventurous and would rather play with cars than her barbie dolls and her mother hates it but she understands at least. I'll show you a picture." He pulls out his phone and shows it to jimin.
"Oh wow, she's adorable. And she looks so much like you." He laughs and retreats his phone.
"Yeah I only get her every other weekend but I don't hesitate to make time for her if I need to." Jimin relaxed in his chair. Namjoon was an interesting man.

Jin waved at the furniture store worker while they both walked in with eyes set on a few pieces. "Ok so remember your new apartment has tan walls so you can choose between gray furniture or brown. You can do both but definitely not in the same room." Jimin nods as they look around.
"Oh wow, this family seat is amazing." He looks at the tag. "And it's cheap in here goodness Jin you hooked me up." Jin winked and kept looking around with him.
