Through The Clouds

I will now tell you the well-known story of the two teenagers in the tiny city of English Server.

"C h e e s e!" C h e e s e heard from behind her. She looked away from the school building she was about to walk into and saw Ellipsis, her best friend, running towards her with a purple phone in hand.

"Here you go, you forgot your phone at my place yesterday." They said and gave her the phone.

"Thank you, I would be lost without it" she said.

After they walked into the building, the day went as it normally would, but then C h e e s e wanted to sneak into the principal's office, but she didn't want to tell Ellipsis why.

"Are you sure about this? We might get caught." Ellipsis said, but C h e e s e didn't answer and continued to try and pick the lock, which she eventually managed.

"There, I told you it would-" C h e e s e began proudly, but was interrupted by a noise which sounded like something falling from inside of the office.

"What was that?" Ellipsis whispered scared.

"I know exactly who that was..." C h e e s e said quietly.

"Wha- WHO!? Is it Isali!?" Ellipsis shouted and quickly covered their mouth, immediately regretting shouting so loud.

"No, it's not the principal..." She answered.

"Then who?" They said, beginning to grow impatient.

"It's Jared!" C h e e s e said with a smile.

"Who's Jared?" Ellipsis asked, and C h e e s e opened the door.

They both stepped inside and closed the door behind them.

"A... frog." They said unimpressed.

"Not just any frog." C h e e s e said, sounding a little offended.

"It's Jared."

She walked the Isali's desk and picked up the frog.

"This is Isali's favorite fro-" She began, but was interrupted by Jared clearing his voice.

"Put. Me. Down." He commanded. "Now."

C h e e s e and Ellipsis both looked at him strangely. A frog that could talk?

"Uh- sorry." She said and put him down.

"You're in big trouble, you two."

"Why?" Said Ellipsis carefully with a shaky voice, knowing exactly why.

"You're both dehydrated (:"

They both looked at him in shock.

"How... did he do that?" Ellipsis asked.

"Well, it's easy. I can feel your feelings when you hol-"

"No, not that..." They said, "the smiley face thingy... you talked... smiley face. That's not logically possible."

"Nothing in this bizzare universe logically possible." He said calmly. Too calmly for it to be calming.

"Now, come on! You wouldn't turn down an adventure, would you!?" Jared said happily, changing his mood in less than a second and jumped off the desk.

"Well, I mean-" C h e e s e said, but immediately shrunk to the size of a larva before she could finish, as did Ellipsis.

"...it depends on whether or not we'll be fish food at the end of the day or not." Ellipsis finished for her.

Suddenly the ground began to move beneath them and they quickly looked at each other in horror as they realized where they really were.

"ADVENTURE!" The frog shouted loudly and started to run towards the open window with the two teenagers on his back.
