[August 25th, 1919]

"Shhh, Raphael! You don't want her to wake up, right?" A voice whispered through the dark, warm late summer night and reached the ears of a tall, dark clothed boy. His brown curls got disheveled by the light wind that swirled around him and the girl the voice came from.
She stared at him with widened blue-grey eyes and her red, usually straight hair had curls now because of the wind. She grabbed Raphael by his wrist and tried to stop him but he just smiled at her and seemed like he knew exactly what he was doing.
"Oh Jenna, she is never really asleep, is she?" With that he winked at her and kept walking. Jenna looked embarrassed down, her cheeks were probably as red as her hair now. She always liked Raphael more than a friend, she was just too scared to tell him. And now he was walking towards an abandoned house... No. He was walking towards THE abandoned house. It was an old white family house, with a big garden around it, with a little forest behind the property. From the sidewalk it looked like a normal old house but the truth is that no one really knew what was inside it - except for Jenna and Raphael.
They weren't sure about what they've seen in there, that's why they came back. Jenna was scared, she was really scared but she trusted Raphael with her whole heart, so she followed him to the house. Right in front of the door, they stopped. Raphael took her hand and whispered in her ear: "Shh, don't be scared, I'm here okay? I'm always here, I'll never leave your side." Jenna's heart pounded in her chest and threatened to just jump out. Did he really just say that? Wow, she really fell for him. And eventually the moment came, they opened the door and entered the house. Everything was calm and peaceful - at the first sight. When they first came here, they heard a certain hissing that came from upstairs, but now there's no sign of any noises.
"Where is it-", Jenna tried to ask but Raphael interrupted her.
"Shhh, listen", he put his finger on her lips, making her shut her mouth. She blushed at his gesture but followed him and listened.
There was nothing.
She listened again.
Nothing.
Again she tried to hear something, and there it was. A small cracking that was so quiet that you couldn't even hear it if you don't listen properly. How did Raphael notice that? She admired him so much that she got lost in her thoughts and didn't concentrate anymore. She didn't even notice how he snapped in front of her eyes but then finally she blinked and looked around.
"Wha-"
"It's there! Be quiet!", he whispered so quiet that she barely heard it. He grabbed her by her wrist and dragged her to the kitchen, exactly the place where the cracking came from. Jenna was sure Raphael could hear her heartbeat, she was so scared that it was beating faster every other minute.
She wanted to close her eyes but she couldn't. It was like something was stopping her from that. So she looked around, looked at every single spot. She had no idea why she was doing that, but maybe it was intuition. At one point her eyes stopped. The table. Her gaze was directed to under the table and she stared at this spot. With wide opened eyes. She didn't even blink. She just stared. As if something suddenly manipulated her mind. Normally she would close her eyes and let Raphael do that. But now she did it.
"..Jenna!.." She heard an old voice that seemed to be far away call her name and suddenly there was someone crouching under the table but as fast as it appeared, it dissappeared again.
Jenna gasped and blinked wildly. Then she grabbed Raphael's hand who still stood next to her and looked up to him.
"D-did you h-hear...s-see that?", Jenna asked him and breathed heavily and shook his arm.
Raphael looked at her with his green reassuring eyes and tried to calm her down.
"What, Jenna? What did I hear or see?", he asked her with his deep, calming voice.
He didn't hear it. He didn't see it. That means she was the only one ... was she?
"Th-there was someone u-under the t-table! Sh-she called m-my name and..", she started but then she stopped. She couldn't talk. She couldn't talk anymore! Something - or someone - was blocking her whole mind. And again she let her eyes wander around again. She didn't do it by herself, she was pretty sure about that.
"Jenna, can you hear me?" She heard Raphael next to her and wanted to answer him, but she couldn't. She was caught in a kind of tranche and couldn't do anything. Something was leading her mind. Something was taking over her mind.
"...Jenna! ... Follow me!..." She heard the old voice again and there it was again. The figure under the table. She wanted to take a closer look at it but it dissappeared again. Jenna was scared. She didn't want that. But this  wouldn't let her go. It kept leading her mind. And so she started walking. Towards the table. She let go of Raphael, and walked approach the table, her eyes widened. She walked slowly, she wanted to stop, wanted to scream and just run out of this house but she couldn't. This thing wouldn't let that happen.
"Jenna! I'm being serious now! Come back!"
'Oh Raphael, I want to, but i can't!', she wanted to shout but she couldn't say anything. She couldn't even close her eyes or blink! *Someone help me please!*, she thought but then this thought dissappeared. Something deleted all her worried thoughts. It was like her mind was built up completely new.
And there was only one solution for this mystery: This thing overtook her mind including her psyche. She couldn't think straight. Now she was walking a little faster towards the table, with a happy face. She smiled, even though her eyes were burning since she didn't blink for 5 minutes now. Then she was running. Right in front of the table, she stopped. With widened eyes and a huge smile on her face, she crouched down slowly. There was nothing. It was quiet. So quiet that you could hear a mosquito sucking blood.
All of sudden there was a horrible scream, and a dark but still pale figure was racing towards Jenna with a wide opened mouth.
She knew it was in her body although she didn't felt it entering it. She just knew it was there, because suddenly she hit the floor and laid there for about two minutes.
"Jenna! What the fuck is happening!?" Raphael screamed but Jenna didn't answer. He came towards her and crouched down next to her, stroking her cheek.
"Jenna? Can you hear me?", he tried to wake her up, "Jenna!" But she didn't answer. She had her eyes closed.
Until she opened them abruptly. Right after that, everything she did happened so fast that Raphael couldn't keep up properly. She watched her getting up, and immediately hitting the floor again, then she was crawling around in the kitchen with a very high tempo. Raphael couldn't understand what was happening, he was just hiding in the corner and was hoping that Jenna couldn't find him, because that was clearly not her. An idea came into his mind, but he knew it was risky. But still he had to try it.
He came out of his hiding and started talking while Jenna was still crawling around very fast.
"Jenna listen to me!" Not working. She let out a terrible scream, and continued crawling.
"Jenna, stop! You're obsessed with a ghost, that is not you!" He kept trying, but nothing worked. He didn't know what to do, should he just leave, or should he stay and hide until she calmed down a little? He did one step forwards, and exactly at that movement, Jenna stopped. She crouched there, in the middle of the kitchen, looking at him angrily. Her face was different. Her usual blue-grey were black now, and dark-red blood ran down from the corners of her mouth, her hair had become less and it was messy, her teeth were sharpened a lot. That was not the Jenna, Raphael used to know.
He wanted to talk to her about the good times they had and that he really was in love with her, but when he was about to open his mouth, Jenna raced towards him and buried her sharp teeth in his neck.
"Jenna! What are you do-.." His voice suffered.
Jenna let out this horrible scream again, and sucked all the blood out of him, then she let him fall down on the ground lifeless and dissappeared in the shadows of the farmhouse, leaving Raphael's corpse behind.
