"Mom is this really necessary?" I asked her not really understanding why she and dad decided to make this a decision for them to speak out about but not me.
"Yes sweetheart, I know it will be hard but it's for the best." She smiles at me as she turns around to continue on checking the cabinets if we had left anything that was important.
"Don't worry, we will have the house on check. Aunt Sylvie will help us keep the house in order." Dad spoke up, knowing how worried I'll get if the house will get abandoned.
"Are we moving back in anytime soon?" I continue to ask them, making sure I was able to see my friends again.
"Yes honey, we'll be out only for a couple of months and we can move back in the house." My dad sighed as he looked around the house, "Okay I think we have everything we need packed."
I sighed as well, lowering my head down.
This was the first time I have ever moved out. I've always had grown up at this house, had many family dinner parties and friends over. This house contained many memories, jumbled up with good and bad ones, but I still appreciated everything that has happened to me.
Although I have to leave my close friends and connected families behind, knowing that we might be moving back at least, made me feel a tiny bit better about the situation.
"Sweetie are you ready to go?" My mom smiled brightly at me as she walked over to place a hand on my back.
"Yes mom, dad." I look over at my dad who was staring at both of us, a little hint of sadness in his eyes. I knew he was the saddest one out of all of us. And I could tell right away from his frown that was starting to form on both his eyes and mouth.
"Oh no your dad looks like he's about to cry." My mom stifled a laugh at my dads welling eyes. I laugh with her and run up to hug him.
"It's going to be okay dad. It's only just for a couple of months." I reassured him.
Soon enough, I feel my mom hug me from behind, particularly sandwiching me in between her and my dad, "Okay mom, I'm suffocating." I say in discomfort.
She let's go of our hug as I let go of my dads.

We were now at the neighborhood of where we are about to move in to. A completely different state. It took us two airplane rides and long amount of hours for us to end up in here.
"What do you think Sweetie? Does the new house look nice to you?" She asked me as I walk around analyzing our new home.
"Yes mom, I love this house already." I turn around forcing a smile out of my face.
In reality, I hated the new house. Everything just isn't the same anymore. I'm further away from my friends and family, the new house was empty with just a few furnitures, and I don't know anyone here.
"Go ahead and check out your new room." My dad enters the house with our luggage.
"Okay." I say as I run up the stairs, as if I'm excited to finally move in to a new place.
I check the rooms out. There were four rooms which the other two rooms I assumed were to be my mom and dads work room and the master bedroom to be theirs too.
That only led me to the 2nd big room which I also assumed to be my room.
It was definitely quite bigger than the our other house but I didn't care about how large my room was going to be.
I sat on the empty mattress as I look out the window that was overlooking the neighborhood. A few kids on their bicycles and skateboards.
Even the neighborhood is all so new to me. We lived in a secluded area where the houses were usually way further apart from each other meaning not many kids were up and running at an afternoon like this one.
