Y/n walked towards the boys dormitories. she stood outside Harry's door and raised her hand, she hesitated at first but knocked on the door. Harry opened the door and his face beamed with joy when he saw Y/n.

"Y/n, erm hi. come in please," Harry said awkwardly, opening the door so Y/n could walk in.

"hi," Y/n said giving him a weak smile. she sat down on the edge of his bed. "can i ask you a question Harry?"

"yes of course" Harry said looking at her.

"when you came back from classes or during the day, did you ever come to find Treacle tarts on your nightstand?"

"oh yea, why?"

"did you ever feel like you were losing time?"

"yea- wait how do you know that?" Harry said looking at Y/n confused.

"Harry those tarts were filled with love potion. they were put there by Romilda Vane, and i'm guessing she used the obliviating charm since you can't remember"

"wait wait wait, your saying Romilda filled the tarts with love potion?" Harry said still confused. "why?"

"well you do have many girls who fancy you Harry. she was one of them"

"oh" Harry stayed quiet looking at the ground for a moment.

"i'm sorry i kissed Romilda"

"Harry you were under a love potion, don't blame yourself" Y/n said putting her hand on his shoulder.

Harry laid his head on top of her hand which made Y/n feel better. Y/n stared at him.

god he is so gorgeous

Y/n wanted to stay there but she slowly took her hand off making Harry look at her.

"Harry i'm sorry i didn't trust you. i should've listened to you instead of ignoring you" Y/n looked down at her fingers laying on her lap. "you don't deserve me"

"Y/n, are you..?" Harry looked sad now. "are you leaving me?"

"i'm really sorry Harry, i just can't hurt you like that again. your face when i screamed at you, it broke my heart Harry" Y/n said standing up to leave.

"no please i-" Harry grabbed her wrist and pulled her back.

he looked at her, she could tell this was hurting him so she looked away so she wouldn't feel guilty. Harry pulled her chin up with his hand making Y/n look into his eyes.

"lets go to the astronomy tower"

"Harry i just said-"

"please"

Harry was looking at her with puppy dog eyes. Y/n heart melted a little.

why do you have to do this to me Potter?

she couldn't say no, not with his light blue eyes looking at her like this.

"okay" she said finally.

Harry smiled again. "okay then"

looking into his eyes, it made her feel like they were the only two people in the world. she couldn't help but kiss him. she put her hand on his cheek and pulled him in. Harry's hands sat on her waist as they kissed. it felt like this moment lasted forever, Y/n wanted it to last forever. when they broke apart Y/n smiled.

"i'll race you" Harry said smirking.

"you'll loose Potter" Y/n said laughing.

"oh yeah?" Harry said. he kissed her and ran towards the astronomy tower.

"hey! you cheater!" Y/n said running behind Harry laughing.

They both ran through the halls holding hands. Y/n felt so free. so alive. she was having a great time. hearing Harry laugh made her feel so warm.
