It was an ordinary day in London. Dolly, a teenage Dalmatian, was returning from the park on his skateboard. Halfway up, she heard crying. She was surprised and started to hear where she was from. It turned out he was from the alley. Dolly got off the skateboard and walked into the alley and found a Golden Retriever puppy in it with dirty and disheveled fur. She calmly approached him. The puppy looked scared.

Dolly: Relax, puppy, I'm not gonna hurt you. My name is Dolly and you?

She said calmly.

???: Daud, he said softly and fearfully.

Dolly: Good. Will you tell me what are you doing here?

Daud: I was running away from the man with the net.

Dolly: Where's your mom or dad?

Daud: I don't have mum or dad.

Dolly felt sad. She didn't want to leave him alone.

Dolly: Why don't you come to my house with me?

Daud: Won't you do anything to me?

Dolly: I promise.

Daud: All right.

Daud and Dolly went home. Luckily the puppies were asleep and Dylan was busy cleaning up. Dolly led the puppy to the bathroom and told him to wash up. Meanwhile, Delilah and Doug returned home.

Delilah: Hey Dylan you know where Dolly is? I need to talk to her.

Dylan: She should be home.

Delilah went to Dolly's room.

Delilah: * Knocks on the door * Dolly can I come in? I need to talk to you.

Dolly: Sure.

Delilah entered the room, closed the door, and sat down.

Delilah: Can you tell me who is that puppy you came home with?

Dolly: * Nervous * What puppy?

Delilah: Dolly don't pretend. I saw you when I came home from work. Tell me.

Dolly: All right. Found him in the alley he said he didn't have his parents. I felt sorry for him, so I took him with me.

Delilah: Where is he?

Dolly: In the bathroom. He was dirty so I told him to bathe and come over here.

Delilah: Dolly recently spoke to your dad about adopting another puppy. And I think if he really doesn't have parents, we could take him in.

Suddenly a puppy enters the room. He slowly walked over to Dolly and sat down.

Dolly: Daud, this is my mom. Say hello.

Daud: Good morning.

Delilah: Do you have any family? Mom, dad, siblings?

Daud: No.

Delilah: Listen, would you like to come live with us? You'll be fine here.

Daud: Do you promise?

Delilah: I promise.

Delilah spread her arms and Daud walked over and hugged her. Dolly joined in a moment later.

A few days later, Daud got used to everyone. But there was something weird about Dolly. A strange feeling grew in her. Something that grew when she was around Daud. Dolly decides to ask Delilah.

Dolly: Mom, can we talk?

Delilah: Yeah baby girl.

Dolly: I've been feeling a strange feeling for a while.

Delilah: Can you describe them?

Dolly: I feel warm. Willingness to protect and be with that person. When I'm around Daud this feeling intensifies.

Delilah: Dolly it's simple. You consider Daud as your son.

Dolly: Really?

Delilah: Yes. You should talk to him.

Dolly went to find Daud. She found him in her room.

Dolly: Daud, can I talk to you?

Daud: Sure what's going on?

Dolly: It's just that you're like a son to me - Daud sat in silence and listened carefully - And since I found you I love you and ...

Dolly didn't happen to finish because she felt a hug.

Daud: I also feel like your son. Mom.

Dolly shed tears of happiness. She was finally happy.
