"Stay away from me. You're a monster." She screamed at Lake while shoving him off of her.
"It's not my fault. Please stay. I beg you. I'll try to make it stop." Lake was trembling as he tried to move closer to Lia but that only made her step back.
"You can't make it stop. It's eating you alive. And if I don't leave I know it won't hesitate to kill me." Lia screamed and walked out of the door, slamming it twice as hard.
Lake lost control over his feet and fell on the carpeted floor.
Tears were running non-stop out of his eyes.He wanted to put an end to this. The pain and the suffering was too much for him. He couldn't help but think whether if he really was a monster as she claimed. Was he that bad to not deserve at least someone by his side.
His thoughts were all over the place. He stood up, walked into his bedroom and paused in front of the mirror.
The person in the mirror was wearing the same clothes as him, sharing the same height and facial features. But the gaze of that person was different. It was that of a petrifying being.
Someone who wouldn't hesitate to go to any extent to get what he wants.
The terrifying reflection's lips quirked up to form a smirk.Lake's heart skipped a bit as he looked at his own reflection that seemed much more non-identical than him.
"You better watch out or end it once and for all." The words came out of his mouth before his aura disappeared.
