chapter one/ daddy i dont want to move

There once was a family of four who just moved into there new house. Brooklyn (the mom), Dave (the dad), Sarah (the big sister) and Clover the little sister. Clover kept on complaining that she didn't want to move;but the family had to for Dave's work. Dave kept on trying to convince his girl why it will be better when they move. But daddy i don't want to move. Clover kept on saying. i like our other house. Clover said. there new house was very far away from there old one so they would have to find new job locations and schools. the family was used to living in the big city of new york. Where they were moving was very very rural. There were trees and fields everywhere. It was even rare just to see another car on the dirt road leading to there house. everything was so different. The closest the next house was to their's was over 50 miles away. Dave thought it was so nice and quiet. so did Brooklyn the mom. Sarah who was 14 the big sister to Clover said if something goes wrong like if the car breaks down there going to be murdered. the parents paid no attention. Clover who was only four did not really have a reason. she just didn't want to move. the long country drive to there new home from there old one took about 7 hours. When they got to there new house, Clover realized a small but very deep hole in there backyard with about 10 wooden crosses in it. Clover did not even know how creepy that was. She told her dad Dave about the hole. Dave quickly filled the hole back up with dirt so Clover won't fall in. The house was a small cozy log house surrounded in trees with a lot of wild life around it. Later that night when the family was all asleep Clover woke up to a strange noise just outside her door. Clover was just a curious little girl that really wasn't afraid of anything. She opened her door to see what it was. when she opened the door, she saw a child like figure looking right at her. the strange figure looked like a 5 year old little girl with long curly blonde hair dressed in all white. it looked as if she was living in the early 1900s. the strange little girl started laughing. It was a little high pitch laugh. Then the figure started waving at Clover to follow her. Clover followed the figure out side to the shore of the ocean. It was very cold by the shore. It was the Atlantic ocean after all. the figure then looked dead at the water and started walking into the water until her body was fully under. the figure then was gone. Clover walked back to the house as if nothing ever happened.
