It was a fine breezy evening in early autumn. Hawks had always enjoyed the more chilly seasons because how much more of a kick they gave his flights.
When the air was cold, the wind would whip more hard and fill the lungs with an irresistible crispness.
It was almost comical, actually, how often people thought of him as a summertime kind of guy.

Truthfully, the heat of summer was a pain in the hero's ass.
It always left him sweating through his socks and made his head hurt. The weight of his wings would grow to be too much and his blond hair would turn brown from moisture.
That all being said however the little bird never minded heat.
Warmth was also welcome and intoxicating. It was just humid summer heat that he had a grand disliking for.

If he could choose, he would make it winter all the time- not for the snow or the merry air and gentle whispers of loved ones preparing for the holidays- no, he just enjoyed having an excuse to get more cozied to a certain man with a fire quirk.

Blue fire is absolutely breath taking, wouldn't you agree? Not just from it taking in the oxygen- but because there's something so wonderfully ominous and alluring about the abnormality of it.
Sure, orange flames are lovely, but blue...
Well, they were far more.. entrancing.

Blue like the ocean, like the sky, like a baby's eyes.. like a magical rose you'd see in fairytales of old. Wouldn't it be absolutely incredible to see such a color?

...

"Hawks, I swear you're growing more desperate to see me every passing day." The dark haired male's voice was low and gravelly at the moment- far more so than usual. Perhaps he'd been having one of his angsty self concerts again and worn out his voice?
"What can I say, Dabs, I'm a sucker for those plump sex lumps ya got constantly on display."
There was a long moment of silence before azure eyes trained to a sharp, narrowed focus on the hero from behind a curtain of black bangs. "My what?"
An almost musical sort of laugh escaped the hero, making his wings fluttered slightly.
"Your man tits."
"I do not have tits!"

The slight redness rising to the surface of his flesh, dusting his cheekbones certainly sold him out on the fact that he indeed agreed with his lover- he did have man tits. It was always a.. touchy subject..

"Whatever, Songbird. Get off my case."
He held up his hands in mock surrender. "Hey now, I never said that was a bad thing. Maybe I like them."

The villain paused, taking a moment to look around the empty bar where they sat. There was definitely potential here..
If the rest of the League didn't come back for another few hours he could certainly have some fun.
After all, it'd been a couple weeks since he and his Bird had gotten a chance to have anything more than a quick go at it.

So, in a split second decision, Dabi shoved Keigo back, ripping his clothes off forcefully and grabbing his knees.
"Dabi! Those were my favorite pants–" he cut off into a gasp as his legs were pushed apart, the cold air hitting his throbbing member. His hips popped loudly, but it was a pleasant and needed thing.
"Dabi, why now?" He whined.
Surely someone would get back soon and catch them?
What if someone came looking and caught them? What would they say to excuse themselves..?

The scarred male chuckled softly, grinding against him.
"Relax, little Bird.. no one will see~"
He doubted that– he doubted it a great deal.
Last time Dabi said no one would see had almost ended in a threesome. Don't ask..

Keigo was about to make a sharp comment when the larger man slammed into him roughly. A wave of pain raked his lower half. Why did he always have to be so aggressive about it?
Dabi's blue eyes darkened, a low growl escaping his lips.
Keigo surppressed a yelp, his wings twitching. He bit his lip, taking a harsh inhale through his nose.
The other man huffed, holding still for a moment. Normally he'd get straight to movement, but maybe today he was feeling nice?

"Hey, Birdie, how's it feel?~"
The hero rolled his eyes, a playfully smirk adorning his lips.
"How's what feel?" He teased.
Dabi growled, thrusting roughly.
"Little bitch!"
Hawks arched his back slightly, a wave of hot pleasure shooting up his spine.
He let out a low moan, his golden eyes rolling back slightly.
"What was that about not feeling it?" Dabi smirked, trying to keep his face blank.
"Sh-shut up.." he mumbled, a trail of drool slowly trailing it's way down his face.

His mate's expression was absolutely stunning. From the reddened face to the furrowed brows and forming sweat beads. Each new ragged breath was like music, making his heart race more.

"Yeah.. yeah.. that's the shit.."

Keigo wrapped his wings up around them both slowly, concealing them in their own little red curtained world.
It was just the two of them now.
Nothing else existed or mattered.
The world was gone.
There was absolutely nothing between them– no one saying it was wrong or that it was sick– they were free.

They had each other, and that was all that they had ever wanted.

The villain let out a low moan, his pace gradually picking up.
The hero shuddered, grasping his back. He clawed lightly, pulling him closer.
No matter how close the two were right now- as close as two people could physically be- it wasn't close enough– it wasn't enough.

Hawks wanted him closer.
He wanted him closer and to never move away or separate.
Even now, as the villain slid back and forth, the outwards pull of each thrust tugged his heart strings, making his breathing falter.

Just that simple pull away in each motion was enough to make him miss the other male- like he was losing something.
He let out a soft whimper, tugging at Dabi's hair.
The villain growled, burying his face in Kei's neck.
"I know, Birdie," he muttered, almost sensing the other's thoughts. "I feel the loss too.."

Keigo shut his eyes tight, but not from the physical bursts of pain or electrifying pleasure- it was to hold back the tears of sorrow that plagued him.

He didn't want Dabi to go– not again. God, he couldn't lose him again..
It was silly, he knew.
After all, they'd made it this far, why would he leave now?
But the sickening feeling of abandonment burrowed its way into his stomach every time the villain pulled back.

"Keigo, it's okay. I'm here," Dabi muttered, stopping for a moment.
He gently wiped Kei's tears, kissing his forehead with a careful tenderness.
The hero simply couldn't hold it in and let out a choked sob.
"Touya, please don't ever leave me again. Please.."

"Takami."
Keigo turned his head, too ashamed to look at him.
Dabi sighed, carefully squishing his cheeks and making the other male look at him.
"Kei, I won't. I swear on my life. You could never do anything to drive me away. Okay?"
But was that really true..?
"I.."
"I mean it, Keigo."
Dabi's sapphire eyes glittered in the dim moon light now creeping through the window of the still empty place, almost giving them a glowing effect.
Hawks sighed in defeat, hugging him closer. "I believe you.."

"I love you, Keigo. I always have and I always will."
"You promise?"
"Of course."
