Jonathon took his hand out of the raft and he got out. He had splinters on him but from that he was okay. He looked at the rising sun above the sandy island shore with seagulls flying past the sun and Merelena staring at it. He coughed a couple times. He groaned. "Where, where am I?" He said. "What the...an island. No. No no no no no no no! I wasn't supposed to be here. I was supposed to be back with Samantha. End what my father is starting. Why can't I at least go back?" He said. Merelena couldn't help but feel bad for what he went through.
"I need to get off this island. I need to be back with her." He said. He ran out to the sea and when it got to where he needed to swim he swam. He tried to fight the waves as much as he could. "John. John. JOHNATHON!" Merelena shouted out to him. Birds inside the island forest flew out. He groaned again. "What is it Merelena?" Jonathon said. "Just calm down. Your getting out of hand. Look at you your soaking wet. Your clothes are torn up. You have bruises all over yourself, and your covered in splinters. Give it a break." She said.
He decided to do so without responding to her. "Okay?" She said with an look on her face raising her eyebrow staring at him. "Fine. But I'm still finding a way off of this island." He said. "No matter how hard it takes." He spoke. He and Merelena went for a walk. Decided to explore the island. A hill stood. Merelena saw a whole new beauty of life in front of her. Fish galloping in and out of the water as a dolphin would. Seagulls flying above. Sand and grass blowing in the breeze. She loved it. Then she saw a person with wings fly by. "Huh." She went to herself with curiosity. She looked at the person. It's a girl a teenage girl she saw flying. She heard her giggles and it put a smile on Merelena's face.
Jonathon on the other hand did see but was mopping around. "You know what you need time alone. I'm gonna take a swim I suggest you just try loosen up a bit." She said. "Okay." Jonathon said. He decided to just try to take a nap to forget his troubles or at least loosen up like he was told. What better to do it on the hill. "Merelena's right. I need calm down," he said. He laid down on the ground and closed his eyes. He then fell asleep.Meanwhile in the water...
Not far out was the coastal reef. Merelena saw all the fish swimming in it. She never saw this part of life it was amazing. She thought this could finally be it. Home she thought to herself. At last she is free and free she is. "My home. I finally find...the place I am meant to be in. Here." She said. She swam up spiraling in the water and coming out 15 feet in the air out of the water. She enjoyed herself.Back to Johnathon...
In his head...
A dream he was is a lucid dream. He was back with Samantha. "I missed you." She said in his dream giving him a hug. "I missed you too." He said. The dream then turned into truth from the thing. Darian gives in, becomes the father that Johnathon wanted. "Johnathon I'm sorry." The father (Darian) said. Darian pushed another of the thing into a portal sacrificing himself to continue Johnathon life with Samantha.
He woke up. "Okay. I don't think that's gonna work." Johnathon said to himself. The thing came out. "Sorry." Thing said. Thing then left to as well explore.
All of them explored the island.
