Chapter 3: The crush

**Ella's POV**

After Luna came and left to explore camp I talked with Jade and Val for a while then decidd to go to the boys' cabins to see what Dylan was doing. As I was walking there I saw Luna and him talking to each other and I got really jealous, I've had a crush on for some time now but if Luna comes in and just steals him...... no no that can't happen.

I walk back to our cabin waiting for Luna to come back so that I can talk to her about it.

*After Luna comes back*

Luna: "Hey Ella"

Ella: "Hi Luna...I saw you talking to Dylan"

Luna: "Yeah, I bumped into him. He seems really nice, but how'd you know I was talking to him?"

Ella: "Oh, I saw you talking to each other near the boys' cabins"

Luna: "Oh, okay...."

Why didn't I tell her I have a crush on him!!? Ugh if I told her she might've backed off, but noooooooooo I can't open my fricken' mouth, now it'll be weird if I tell her out of the blue and I think she might like him a little bit... but if she tries to steal him from me, well that's not happening so stop thinking about it.

**Luna POV**

*The next day*

I tried my best to wake up early so I could get hot water, and I did but I had to take a quick shower so that I don't take ALL the hot water.
I came out of the shower and Jade and Ella was awake, most probably for the water but Val was still fast asleep.

Jade: "Good morning, I see you decided to wake up early for hot water"

Luna: "Good morning, yeah I wanted a good start to my day"

Ella: "Good morning to you too"

Luna: "Oops, sorry Ella"

Ella: "It's fine, but we have to go for breakfast"

Luna: "Are we gonna wake up Val

Jade: "We can try, but she usually never wakes up if we call her"

Luna: "Oh, okay"

*They reach the main hall for breakfast*

Ella: "Woohoo, its pancake"

Luna: "yaaaay"

Jade: "okay okay stop getting all excited, lets sit down"

*They sit down on the table*

I'm so happy that we have pancakes, I love<3 pancakes.

I saw Dylan waving at me, so I wave back with a smile and also trying to hide how much I'm blushing. I quickly look away so that he doesn't see that I'm embarrassed but I see Ella glaring at me? Nah, it must be my eyes, she's nice and one of my friends, she wouldn't glare at me. I shake that thought off and continue eating my pancake. The rest of the day went by okay, me and the girls talked and turns out tomorrow there's a hiking trip.
