To Be A Hyuga - Ongoing

Prologue

"I need you to go as far away from here as possible, and keep yourself and Y/N hidden." Hiashi spoke as he busted through Mitsushiba's door. He instantly went upstairs and started packing some clothes and weapons. Mitsushiba took you out of her lap and on to her hip as she went upstairs after him.
When she gets up there she sees Hiashi frantically throwing things into a couple of bags. "Hiashi what's going on?" "Orochmaru has taken interest in Y/N, he wants her for the power she will one day posses. Tsunade is here to travel with you, she will explain things more clearly. We have already discussed things with the Hokage." Hiashi answered as he grabbed another bag and went into Y/N's room to pack a couple more things. "So what does this mean for Y/N? Will she ever get to see you? Will I?" Hiashi stopped and stood up straight. He looked at you and then at Mitsushiba and proceeded to say, "No, she can't be here." His expression turned to a sad one. "I'm sorry things couldn't work out the way we wanted them to, can I say goodbye?" Mitsushiba handed you to your father as he looked at you with a sorrowful face. "I love you Y/N, I wish to see you one day." He then gave you a kiss on the forehead, grabbed the bags and started walking downstairs. He gave you to your mom and walked her to the gate where they were met with Tsunade. With one last look Mitsushiba left with Tsunade and Hiashi stayed until you were blurs in the distance. He then went back home to his wife and other daughter Hinata.

Y/N's POV

I was sitting on the hotel room's balcony meditating when I heard the door open behind me. I look around to see Shizune standing there with a smile. I quickly gave a small smile back. Shizune and Tsunade have been there for me for as long as I can remember. They were always traveling with me and my mom. When I was 8 I had watched my mom get killed by some ninja and then Tsunade and some ninja from the village we were in fought them off. Ever since then it's just been us 3.
"Tsunade has somewhere to be so we will be taking our leave, stay here, and stay safe. Don't answer the door and if something happens-" "I know Shizune, stop worrying. I promise I'll be fine." I said with a soft voice to assure her I'll be okay.  "I know, I know but you know how I worry." "Yeah I know." Just after I said that we heard Tsunade yell for her. I got up off of the ground and walked with her to the door where Tsunade was ready to leave. I walked up to her and gave her a hug, and then one to Shizune. "Goodbye, stay safe. I love you guys." Tsunade gives you a kiss on the forehead, says 'I love you' and leaves. Shizune gave you one last hug and left after her. You locked the door and went into the room. You sat on the bed, grabbed your sketchbook from the nightstand, and started to draw.

Shizune's POV

The whole time we were walking I was worried about Y/N. Nothing has happened since the death of Mitsushiba, but I am always worried about her health. I especially think about how that would affect Lady Tsunade. She's lost her Brother, sister, and her lover; I don't know how she would react to losing Y/N. She treats her as if she is her daughter. I feel the same way. We've raised her since she was 8 and been with her since she was 1, we are both deeply attached to her.
I was lost in my thoughts until Lady Tsunade started talking. "Alright, this is it." wait a second- THE BIGGEST GAMBLING HOLE IN TOWN!

~Time skip~

Y/N's POV

Something has been bothering Tsunade and Shizune but I couldn't figure out what. I was sitting in a chair reading when Tsunade and Shizune walked in with confusing faces. I couldn't quite understand what they were feeling at this point. Tsunade walked over to me. "I need you to get ready, we are going out to eat with Jiraiya and his student. I have some news." I instantly got up and got dressed, I never get to be around people, and I haven't seen Jiraiya in a while. He was sort of like a father figure to me, since he was the only man I was ever around, and I've never met my father.
We soon left and went to a restaurant where we were met outside with Jiraiya and next to him was a blonde boy. I smiled brightly and ran up to hug Jiraiya. He hugged me back with open arms. "Heyy pervy sage, who's this." The blonde kid asked. "This is my niece Y/N" Tsunade answered. "Hello, I'm Y/N." I said with a low voice, I was always kept away from people so I was a little shy, and for some reason I felt intimidated. "HI I'M NARUTO UZUMAKI AND I'M GOING TO BE HOKAGE! BELIEVE IT!" I was shocked by the sudden outburst, but my expression soon became a soft smile. I liked this kid, he was around my age and actually had something to look forward to. I envied him. I have no idea what I want to do with my life, I've always just trained and traveled wherever with Tsunade and Shizune. I was cut out of my thoughts with everyone heading inside. I was getting ready for the news I was about to hear.

"WHAT! THE 5th HOKAGE!" I was shocked, Tsunade was becoming a kage. So that means no more traveling around. I then became happy. I could meet people and become a ninja just like my mom and aunt. Naruto then started saying bad things about Tsunade while asking why she's Hokage. Shizune tried desperately to stop the conversation but Naruto kept going. Oh no. Tsunade basically leaped across the table. "You want to take this outside kid?" I just sunk in my seat. I love her but she can be kinda scary sometimes.
We all gotta need up going outside and now I was super scared. I didn't think Tsunade would actually hurt him, but she's really scary when she's mad. Naruto charged at Tsunade and just when she was going to flick him, she kissed his forehead instead. After a nice moment between them Jiraiya spoke up. "All right let's go home everyone, to the Leaf Village." Tsunade and Shizune then looked at me and Tsunade told Jiraiya to wait a second while we went to pack.
When we got back to the hotel Tsunade told me to sit down. Both her and Shizune had sad faces and I was starting to worry. "You won't be coming to the Leaf Village." My face dropped completely and the smile I once had quickly vanished. "Wh-what do you mean. You're becoming Hokage, we have to go there." "I am going, but you can't. Shizune will be with you, and she will travel with you so you can practice your jutsu." I stood up  with an angered and sad expression. "NO! I want to go with you, I don't want to leave you." She came over and hugged me while Shizune stood looking at us with a hurt face. I started to silently cry on Tsunade's shoulder. I had already lost mom, I didn't want to lose her too. She let go of me and wiped away a tear with her thumb. "I promise I'll see you again, you just have to be patient." I said nothing, I just looked at her silently with tears flowing down my now red cheeks. She hugged me again and said "I love you Y/N, don't forget that. Stay safe, I'll see you soon." And with that she took her leave. Leaving me a crying mess with Shizune trying her best to calm me down.
