"You asked Seb about Vin? Kailan? What did she answer?"

My eyes darted on Kin who's sitting in front of a vanity mirror which she bought three days ago. I wonder if she used her money to buy that, kuripot kasi si Kin at hindi nanlilibre. She stared at her reflection as she putted the powder on her face. Mukhang may lakad din siya ngayon kagaya ko.

I sipped my coffee and finished my food. "Do you know all along, Kin? Do you know that Seb is looking up at him with something more than a friend does? Before? Before... I wasn't still in Vin's line of sight?"

I just wanted to ask. I am not doubting Vin's feelings towards me nor Kin and Seb being secretive. Seb and Kin were classmates back then, they were always together kaya malamang ay kahit hindi na sagutin pa iyon ni Kin ay tama ang hinala ko.

Well, Seb doesn't know that Vin and I were together three years ago. Sina Kin lang at Bree ang may alam and maybe up until now, Seb doesn't know anything. Hindi ako nagkukuwento, ganoon din naman siya but we're still friends. Hindi naman porque malihim ay hindi na magkaibigan.

Kahit noong araw na bumisita dito sina Rell at Dee-ay ay hindi ko ikinuwento but I know that she already knew what's happening. Love problems. And I didn't mention the name of the two man to all of them, I just ask about what should be my next path to take.

Hindi ko na rin matandaan kung kailan ko tinanong si Seb but it was February. I just asked her about being related to Vin. Wala akong sinabing kahit na ano. Hindi ko sinabing nagkaroon ng kami noon. At nagkabalikan nga kami ngayon. I didn't tell her anything. I was that secretive. We are that secretive.

"Hindi na 'yon mahalaga, Say." Kin shrugged her shoulders, answering my questions. She pause for a while and added another waves of words. "It's over and you heard Vin. He said that he only treated Seb as her sister. Why is it too big deal to you? Nagseselos ka, e. Matagal na kaya iyon, its been seven years since that happened, Say. Bakit? Natatakot ka ba? What are you thinking? That Seb would throw her relationship with Phoenix just because of the past? Kasi dalawa naman 'yong para kay Seb ay naging fling niya e, nandiyan pa si Saint pero wala naman siyang ginawa, 'di ba?"

I grabbed my shoulder bag that's laying on the sofa. Kinuha ko rin ang make-up kit na nakalagay sa center table at isinilid sa bag. "No, Kin. I was just asking, matagal ka na palang may alam. Seven years was too long."

Kin walked towards me and crossed her arms in front of her chest. "I'm not the type of person who will meddle with other people's business, Scyther. It's better to have it that way before... dahil kung sinabi ko, what will happen to us? I'm sure we're already far away from each other, ayoko ng gano'n. Ayoko na magkawatak-watak tayo."

I arched my brow at Kin. She fixed her white halter top and also stared back at me. "What?"

"If you're not the kind of person who'll meddle with other people's business, what are you doing with the man you always talked about but doesn't have a name? Isn't that meddling, Kin?"

"Shut up!" She spat.

Tumawa ako. May pa-not meddling at may pa-shut up ka pala ha.

"Lumayas ka na sa unit ko, wala kang ambag dito!" I tried to irritate her as I grinned from ear to ear.

She mimicked my voice and rolled her eyes up on the ceiling while making funny faces. "Bahala ka, ayokong umuwi sa bahay at wala din akong pera. And I don't want to see my older brother and my two older sisters faces at 'yong iba ko pang kapatid! Saan naman ako pupunta kung aalis ako dito, ha?"

"Malay ko, bakit ako ang tinatanong mo n'yan? Magdesisyon ka." I turned my back at her and faced the door of my unit. "Anyways, I'll get going. Bye! Meddle with that athlete's life, Kin! Puwede ring doon ka na lang tumira sa kanila!"
