Another dreary day for another gloomy me. Why must I have things so hard? ARRRG! I feel so depressed, like the world would go on better without me, but I cant do that to my 7 month old daughter, Zoë, besides she's got no one else.

"My little sunshine, hello my sunshine, my greatest sunshine." I sang to my daughter as she slowly opened her tiny eyes. At that moment I saw she looked so much like her father, and than remembered how this all started. It was after high school. I thought I've found the love of my life, until things took a turn for the worst. I was wasted and so was he, but we were sober enough to make a decision that had changed my life forever. What can I say? I made a mistake, don't we all. But mine was one that could never be changed. I remembered the look on his face the day I told him the news *FLASHBACK*
"Well I've been getting real sick lately so I went to a doctor. She took a couple tests and told me..." I took one deep breathe blurted all out once. I felt so guilty and innocent at the same time. "How did this happen?" he asked me. I started off by saying " remember the graduation after party" I was interrupted by him saying "Oh No, CRAP! God, Ooh man." And than a deep breathe saying "okay." "Okay what?" I asked "Okay as in this kid is mine and I will be its father.
Two days later we invited my mother, father, brother, and other brother. As well as his mother and sister. He never talks about his father, I don't know why. Anyways, we gathered them all at the table and me and him told them the news. "We're getting married" I said with excitement, because was to big a coward to say it. My brother, mother, his mother, and his sister all choked on the water they were drinking, my other brother cheered and hollered "when is the after party?" My mother stomped on his foot and my father jumped in and said "are you sure you're not rushing things." "Shes already pregnant, Its just about time." "SHES WHAT!!" The whole table shouted in shock. Right then and there I knew our parents weren't going to be supportive and suggested we leave before the appetizers arrived.
