CHAPTER ELEVEN
CURIOSS eyed all of the different type of food that were placed on the shelves as she pushed her cart.
Her and Mehki were having a girl's night, with just the two of them since Reina was somehow busy and Melanie felt some way towards Mehki for some unknown reason.
Mehki scowled while she looked at her phone. "Mane, he best shut the fuck up talking to me."
"Armon ya man?" Curioss furrowed her eyebrows when she caught a glimpse of her phone. She had overheard Double talking about him to Stacks, she was surprised that she was dating him.
Mehki nodded. "I mean," She pushed the cart, "Does Ka'deem knows about this?" Mehki said nothing, she couldn't tell her brother that she was still seeing Armon, she knew how hot his head was about things like this. Especially fucking with Armon.
"I'm grown," She shrugged and took up a bag of chips from the shelf. Curioss shook her head, "Sis I know you grown, but sometimes grown people do dumb shit, I'm just looking out for you, I don't wanna see you get hurt."
"I heard you," She mumbled, looking at all the different canned peas. Curioss grabbed her hand, stopping her. "I don't want you to hear me Mehki, I want you to listen, please be careful--matter of fact dead that shit before it gets out of hand." She dropped her hand and continued to push the cart.
They had checked out the items and was now loading them into the car. "Shit, be right back," Mehki rushed back into the store.
Curioss hissed when she hit her nails on the door, causing it to bend back.
"Need some help lil mama?" She looked up from the car and saw a darkskinned man with a face tattoo looking at her.
"Nah, I'm good," Curioss gave a polite smile then placed some bags into the trunk.
He licked his lips and rubbed his hands together, "You sure? Shit, you look like you struggling."
Curioss eyed him then sighed and took a step back, allowing him to help. He chuckled and picked up the bags, gently placing them into the trunk.
"Thank you."
"It aint nothing, what's ya name?"
"Curioss," She smiled when he gave her a handshake. "Nice tah meet you Curioss, they call me Glizzy,"
"So what, you gon give me ya digits?" Curioss took his phone. She put in her number and saved her name as 'Curioss🌴💭'
Glizzy thanked her when she gave him back his phone.
He took the cart from her, "I got it."
Mehki came out of the grocery store with the items she had forgot. She gave Curioss a strange look when she saw Glizzy pushing the cart back to the store.
