~Jae Bums POV~
They had met when she had presented the merchandise ideas for the new album DYE. She had introduced herself as Lux. She was the head of the Design Team at JPY Entertainment. She had come up with five concepts, and all of them had blown me and JYP away that we decided on all 5 to print and market. She had presented with confidence and didn't seem phased because JYP and I were famous and in the same room as her. It was a rare sight to see after being chased down by girls endlessly.
He would see her around the office whenever he could go to the company. She didn't care for anything else when she was at work but outside of work, she was like a different person entirely. On occasion he would be passing by on the way to the company and catch a glimpse of her in the cafe or restaurant across the street and she would be smiling and laughing. He started to notice her more often in the next few weeks. Eventually the album released and he went on tour. Upon his return from tour, he wanted to see her more as he could not stop thinking about her and staring at her instagram in hopes of some new update of her day.
*A few days later*
He had seen her walking with a presentation board and saw she couldnt see infront of her, so he saw an opportunity to talk to her. He ran into her on purpose, when she was carrying presentation boards taller than her 5'4 self. She couldn't see in front of her but he had seen her before she turned the corner and walked straight into him. She had put the board down and peeked out from behind the board to see who or what she had walked into. Upon seeing him on the other side she walked out to apologize to him properly. He told her "no harm, no foul" and asked if she needed help taking it to where she was going. She had said no as she was almost at the event hall. He looked at her and laughed. The event hall she was looking for was on the other side of the building. She looked at him confused as to why he was laughing. He told her as he picked up the board.
"The event hall is this way. Follow me"
"Ahh, ha-ha. Thanks, I tend to get lost easily" She responded.
He was thinking of a way to start a conversation with her when she said "So what brings you to the company today?"
"I had some spare time so, I wanted to use a practice room." He responded.
"And here I thought you came for the presentation too." She murmured to herself thinking he didn't hear her.
"I'll be there for the presentation, it's not for a few hours anyway. You know, you seem very different from when you are presenting. Almost like a different person." He said as they reached the event hall.
She looked at him curiously "Yeah, I get that alot . I feel the same though, maybe a bit more confident because it's something I know inside out and backwards" She told him.
"Hmm, maybe that's it." He replied deep in thought as he put the board down.
"Well I shouldn't keep you from your practice time anymore, thank you for helping me. Next time you come to the office, I will treat you to a coffee." She smiled as she said.
"How about dinner instead of a coffee? Tonight?" He asked as he looked at her. It was more of a stare really. She was tying up her long multi-coloured hair into a ponytail exposing her slender and delectable neck and he couldn't help but stare.
She turned and looked at him, a moment of fleeting shock registered across her face, but disappeared as soon as the words "Uhhh...Sure" left her lips.
"Perfect, I'll wait for you after the presentation and we can go together. I'll pick the place and reserve a table." His voice deeper than before.
She nodded "Sounds good, I'll see you later then."
She took the board and turned and walked into the hall, before she could show him how flustered she really was.
He watched her leave and smiled. Then proceeded to make his way to the practice studio in the building.
