~Graser's POV~

I watched as the brunch I ordered 20 minutes ago made its way to my table. A regular cheese pizza with warm french toast. I couldn't wait to sink my teeth into the stone baked goodness that awaited. I pulled out my new iPhone to take a picture of my food for Twitter. I stopped myself and thought I should take a picture with Mike, my usual waiter since it was his last day working at The Joint. I was really going to miss him; he was the only employee that knew about my YouTube career and really supported me. "Hey Mike do you mind if we take a quick picture for Twitter?" I said as he placed the two steaming plates on the table in front of me. "Sure why not!" He replied eagerly. I pressed the camera app on my home page and held up a thumbs-up as we posed for the picture. "Thanks Mike!" I said while I opened up my photo editor app. He replied, "No problem Zach, need anything else before I go to my other tables?" "Nope, I'm good for now thanks bud!" As he walked away, I took my first bite into my pizza; delicious as always. I found a picture from Google that read Pax Prime 2014 on it and cropped it on my head so all you could see was a bit of my shirt and my thumbs-up. I captioned it with: Final Day Picture w/ Mike. This was already turning into a bitter sweet day. Mike was leaving, but this food was just so good! I put down my phone and put it on silent as the re tweets and favourites came in. I forked up a big piece of french toast and held it to my mouth, and out of the corner of my eye, I saw four people walk in the somewhat busy restaurant that appeared to be my age. The girl had ombré hair and wore a beanie and big glasses. There were three boys; one with longer almost black hair, another with brown hair and a lot of scruff. The last one had light brown wavy hair and wore a grey sweater and jeans paired with green and purple skater shoes. I couldn't help but stare at the third boy, he was beautiful. I was already having a better day.

~Straub's POV~

I saw him blushing from across the restaurant, he was adorable and his eyes were mesmerizing; I didn't want to look away. He was wearing a turquoise t-shirt and black jeans with a pair of black skater shoes. Great, I've only been in Ottawa for what? Maybe an hour or two and I'm already falling for a guy that I haven't even met before. Our waiter practically skips over to the table to take the orders. You can tell that he is in a way better mood than I am. After flying for over 20 hours, plus having your flight get cancelled to Toronto, you would understand my frustration. "Okay everyone, are we ready to order?" Asked the waiter who's name plate read Mike. "Uh, maybe uhm..." I didn't get a chance to look at the menu, "I'll have what he's eating!" I exclaimed as I nodded towards the boy that I had been gazing at. "Great choice!" Said Mike the waiter with a sly smirk on his face. My friends had a confused look on their faces and continued to order one by one. "Okay perfect, thanks." Mike the waiter said as he walked away with our orders."What was that about dude?" Asked one of my friends, Jeruhmi. "Man, I didn't even look at the menu. I just want to eat, get a hotel, and sleep." "We can still make the most of this trip, just because the flight got cancelled doesn't mean we can't have fun in Ottawa." Added my roomate Bee, who was trying to cheer me up. We finished eating and I continued to glance over at the cute boy. Sometimes we would make eye-contact. When we did, I got butterflies in my stomach and my heart would skip a beat. I noticed that he was almost always on his phone. I was too, just because I was updating my Twitter followers about what I was doing. I post YouTube videos of me playing Minecraft so I have a good amount of people following me. I quickly post: At a noice restaurant, the view is perfect... As the favourites and replies started to flood my phone I looked up at the boy; he was whispering to Mike the waiter and looking directly at me. Maybe he was complaining because I was making him uncomfortable with my constant glances. The boy left and didn't look back once. Did I actually think some sort of miracle would happen? I was crazy to think that this stranger would even give me a second thought. I felt a knot forming in my stomach, suddenly I was uncomfortable. I got up to pay Mike the waiter and handed him the crisp Canadian bills that we had converted before we left. "Keep the change" I said as I was tucking the receipt into my wallet. "Thanks, I hope things work out..." he said as he handed me a neatly folded up napkin. He gave me a quick wink and walked away to tend to his other tables. I stood there; frozen.
