CLARYS POV:
It's been 4 months since Luke and Sydney announced their engagement. Tomorrow is their wedding and Sydney is very nervous.
Tonight is the rehearsal dinner. I'm Sydney's maid of honor. It makes me feel so special, anyways, the rehearsal dinner is in an hour so I got dressed. I put on a medium length dress that is purple. I then put my silver high heels on. I go in the bathroom and curl my hair. After I'm done curling it I put it up in a pony, I then brush my teeth and put my make up on. I look at the time and see it's 3:45. The dinner is at 4:00. Dang it. I'm going to be late.
I grab my keys and jacket then head out the door. I start my car and pull out of the drive way. I'm suppose to meet everyone at the park at 3:50 so the girls can take a limo there. And the guys can take there own limo there. I get there and it's already 3:57. They already left.
Sydney didn't tell me where the dinner was. So I'm screwed. Majorly screwed. I start walking back to my car and see Luke's limo didn't leave yet. I rush over there and knock on the window. They unroll it. "Can I have a ride?" I ask.
The driver gives me an unsure look then looks back at Luke. "She's with us." Calum says.
They unlock the doors and I climb inside. I'm not even sitting down and the car zooms forward and I fall to the floor of the car. I grab my head and wince. "Ouch." I say.
The driver looks back and sees I'm on the ground and says," Sorry Miss."
"It's fine." I say.
Ashton comes up to me and helps me off of the ground. I thank him and sit down at the back of the limo.
It's mostly silent the whole ride. I just stare out the window hoping we will get there soon. We finally get there and I'm the last one to get out. I run inside and sit down next to Sydney. She looks beautiful! "Sorry I'm late." I say.
"It's fine. And you look gorgeous Clary." She replies.
"Thanks you too." After the dinner is over we have to practice dancing and walking down the aisle.
I am walking down with Calum. Lydia is walking down with Micheal. And Sereniti is walking down with Ashton. Me and Calum are the first ones to enter the room. Then Lydia and Micheal. Then Sereniti and Ashton. Then Luke and Sydney..
Me and Calum walk down first and I'm holding a bouquet of flowers with the colors purple and yellow. Lydia and Micheal walk down and Lydia looks downright perfect. Then Sereniti and Ashton. Sereniti looks like a model. Sydney and Luke. Sydney looks beautiful. Me? Well to be honest I think I look like a potato.
Next is the dancing. I keep stepping on Calum's toe and he lets out a welp everytime. I feel bad because I'm horrible at dancing. But this Mexican guy says he can teach anyone so hopefully he can teach me.
At the end of the lesson the instructor comes up to me and says," Your horrible. You just can't learn. I have to change my motto now." I wince at his words and Calum laughs at me.
I punch him in the arm. After everything is over I get in the limo with the girls and we head off to the dorm.
When we get there we eat food and watch movies. Alittle after 10:00 the guys come over. We are watching the Vow. Surprisingly, Micheal picked it out. He can be such a girl sometimes. Lydia Calum and Micheal sit on the first couch. Sydney, Luke, Sereniti and Ashton sit on the other one. There's a total of 3 couches so I'm sitting on the third couch alone.
I honestly don't mind sitting alone. But I mean I'm not overly happy about it either.
After halfway through the movie Micheal and Ashton leave. Calum, Luke Sydney and I are the only ones awake.
Sereniti and Lydia went to bed after their "boyfriends" went home. At the end of the movie Sydney is out so Luke puts her in her room. It's just me Calum and Luke now.
I honestly find it awkward. Calum picks the next movie and we end up watching The Ride Along. I fall asleep in the middle of it. I feel someone put a blanket over me and turn the tv off. Probably Calum. I think.
The next day I wake up to someone screaming. I shoot up and walk towards Sydney's room cause that's where the screaming is coming from. I walk in and Luke is still sleeping. "What's wrong?" I ask.
"There's a HUGE spider over there!!" she says.
"Oh it can't be that big!" I say. I walk over there and she was right. The spider is huge. I scream and it jumps at me. I move backwards and fall on the bed.
It keeps coming towards me and finally I climb over Luke and fall on the floor.
"Ouch." I say. I sit on the floor waiting for someone to kill that gosh dang spider. Sydney runs out of the room screaming her head off.
I shake Luke and say," Luke!" He still doesn't wake up. "LUKE!" I scream. He jumps up and sees me on the floor.
"What's wrong?" He asks.
"There's a HUGE spider over there!" I say.
"And?" Luke says.
"And you have to go kill it!" I shout at him.
"Oh okay." He says "it can't be that big." He walks over and sees the spider and he screams and runs out of the room. Baby. I think.
I grab Luke's shoes he's suppose to wear for the wedding. I look at them and shrug. I kill the spider with the shoe. "It's all good." I say.
Luke comes back in. "Where's my shoe?" Luke asks me.
I hand him the shoe. "Why did you have my shoe?" He asks me.
"I used it to kill the spider.. Your welcome!" I say to him. I walk out of his room and into mine.
I grab the dress I'm suppose to wear and put it on. This dress is longer and comes down to my feet. I wear the same shoes as yesterday and do the same thing to my hair. I put my make up on.
I grab my keys, phone, and jacket and head out the door. I get to the church and help Sydney get ready. She has the most beautiful dress I've ever seen! She is wearing the same shoes as me and has the same bouquet as me.
I put her veil on her and I don't know why but when I'm done helping her get ready I look at her and start to cry.
"Why are you crying?" She asks me.
"You just look so beautiful in that dress and I'm so happy for you. We grew up to fast that's all." I say wiping away my tears.
"Aww!" We hug and we stay hugging forever.
Calum walks in. "Oops sorry did I interrupt something?" We laugh and I fix her make up cause it's everywhere. I fix mine as well.
"What do you want Calum?" Sydney asks him.
"Uh it's time for uh.. You
know your wedding."
Sydney smiles and I say,"Shall we?" She smiles at me and gladly takes me arm. We walk out into the hallway and I take Calum's arm. This is Sydney's big day. I'm so happy for her.
