When Ash was only 10 years old, he had never dreamed of the turns his journey to become a Pokémon master would take. Now, he had been on countless adventures, gone on multiple journeys through different regions, and befriended so many Pokémon!
As of now, he is in the Alola region. When he first arrived, it was meant to be a vacation, but things turned out otherwise and now he attends the Pokémon school there. Ash lives with the teacher, Professor Kukui, Kukui's wife, Professor Burnet, and all of his Pokémon he caught in Alola.
Ash woke up in the morning and stretched his arms. He was careful when getting out of bed as to not wake Pikachu up. He rubbed his eyes and climbed down the ladder to the living room.
"That's strange," he mumbled. As far as he could tell, both of the professors were nowhere to be found. They would usually be cooking breakfast during this time of day or meditating on the beach. But when Ash opened the front door and headed out, they were nowhere to be found.
"Maybe they're at the school or Aether Paradise." Ash shrugged and went back inside. Pikachu was at the door and quietly greeted him.
"Pika! Pikachu!" It leapt onto Ash's shoulder and nuzzled his cheek.
"Hey, Buddy!" Ash laughed and petted Pikachu. "Have you seen the professors?"
"Pika-pikachu," it whispered and put a paw to its mouth in a "be quiet," motion. Then it pointed to the TV and couch. When Ash walked over, he saw both of the professors quietly sleeping on the couch and cuddling each other in their arms.
"Well, there's something you don't really see every day!" Ash chuckled and scratched his cheek.
"Pika, pika pikachu?"
"I'm talking about them both asleep at this time," Ash clarified. He took two Pokéballs from his nightstand and released Torracat and Lycanroc.
"Torracat!"
"Lycanroc!" They both cried out happily and went to their trainer.
"Pika!"
"Guys! Shh!" Both Pokémon gave him a quizzical glance before Ash showed them Kukui and Burnet.
"We have to be quiet, okay?" Both of them nodded and tip-toed to their food bowls, which Ash filled with berries. Ash noticed there was also a waffle on the table for him.
"They must've made food earlier," Ash observed. Pikachu kept off his shoulder and went to his own bowl and started munching on some berries. Ash smiled and walked over to his backpack.
"Rowlet? Meltan?" He called for his Pokémon before opening his backpack and shaking the two out of it. Rowlet came first, still snoring as usual. Meltan came out a bit after and started to wake up from the commotion.
"Rowlet, come on! Wake up!" Ash shook Rowlet a bit, but it continued to keep sleeping. He tried picking it up and shaking it harder, but all that did was ruffle his feathers. He nearly tried to yell you wake him up before remembering the sleeping professors.
"Man, what I gonna do with you?" he asked.
"Mel! Meltan!"
"Huh?" Ash turned around and saw Meltan crawling up the kitchen counter and making its way to a frying pan. It started drooling and wagging its tail when it got close.
"MELTAN!!!" Ash whisper-yelled. Meltan squealed in anticipation And rubbed its hands together before diving towards the pan. Ash grabbed Meltan's head and the pan before it could eat it.
"Meltan, I thought we talked about this!" Ash put the pan down and set Meltan down next to its bowl, which was filled to the brim with screws and nuts.
