The car ride was a comfortable silence not needing to feel the air with small talk. Thinking back to that moment in my room. was I going crazy or what because I know I heard Carson's voice in my head. as far as I knew he wasn't a telepathy or is he and he never told any of us? Lola you get back here right now! Giggling I ran as fast as I could from the back door jumping off the steps. Looking back to see if Lily was hot on my heals she hadn't made it out of the house yet but I knew when she did catch up to me she would kick my butt. I knew right away he wasn't human by the way he looked with those eyes you could see the blood lust in them. Pulling out a wooded steak from her boot Lily told me to stay be hide her at all times. The vampire came at her with such speed she pushed me to her left. Sending a around kick to the vampire, he grabbed her foot tossing her back a foot or so. She got up matching his moments when she got closer she kicked her leg up landing her boot hill in his head. He was bleeding from the wound but it didn't faze him. Lily reached up with the wooded steak to drive it through his heart ,but he moved to fast and she ended up stabbing him in the arm with the wooded steak. The vampire pulled the steak out of his arm and tossed it across the yard landing right in front of me. I knew I had to do something to help I had training for a hunter but no where as much as Lily. Before I could do anything the vampire had her by the neck saying you and your mate killed my mate so I will kill you now. He dig his teeth in to her neck the next thing I knew I was running at the vampire with the wooded steak in hand. I stabbed the vampire right through the heart. He dropped Lily falling to the ground him self. I ran to her pulling her to my lap screaming NO NO NO you cant die. She looked up at me with a sad small smile Lola you did good. Tears running down my face begging her not to close her eyes she said I'll aways be with you. Lily closed her eyes and died right there in our back yard in my arms. That day I made a vow to my self I would become the best hunter. to make sure each and ever creature human or non human would be brought to justice one way or another. I would die with honer when the time came and I was honoring the life my sister should have had.

Felling a hand run down my cheek sending little shocks brought me back to reality. Not wanting to look at Carson when he was asking if I was okay I just nodded my head. He took my face in his hands making me look at him he asked again if I was okay? When I looked into those eyes I knew I couldn't lie to him he knew something was wrong. Sighing I said I was just thinking about my sister is all. He closed his eyes when he opened them you could see sadness in them.
