"Secrets Behind"
He stared at the barrel of the gun. There were grooves on the handle with a finger on the trigger. His body began to shake. His heart began to beat drastically. His hands curled into fists as he felt the helpless rage rush through him. "There's still time", He said to himself. His eyes gazed to the left and right, not until he saw a dirty mossy stone near his foot.
"If I'd dodge the first bullet, I could use the stone as an escape", He told himself silently.
"You can't outsmart me Vance", The person began to speak. "Retaliate Prejudice With Atrocity"
"Bang"
Everything became black.
Vance woke up all of a sudden. Realizing it was all just a nightmare. He sat at the edge of his bed, trying to move on from the dream he just encountered.
He grabbed his phone and saw a message.
"Meet me at school later.
At Building C5" It was from his friend, Elle.Vance stood up and got ready for school. As he was driving his car along the road, he began to recall the events that happened in his dream. He was flustered about what the person said. "Retaliate Prejudice With Atrocity", Vance sighed.
He parked his car at the University's parking lot. Elle greeted him at the far side of the road.
"Vance!", Elle shouted as Vance crossed the street. "What's the matter Elle?"
"Look what I found", she showed him a switchblade inside a resealable bag. "I found this near the dumpsite where Danver went missing". She handed the bag to Vance for some fingerprint scanning.
"I'll check this later at home", Vance puts the bag in his car. "So by the way, you hungry?" Vance asked."Im starving", Elle replied with a smile.
They went inside the campus, onto the cafeteria. Vance ordered their food, as Elle was just waiting patiently for him. He got back, and sat beside her.
"I heard the Cafeteria's specialty is their infamous Egg-Yolk Ravioli", Elle said.
"I know, but I think Rigatoni tastes much better than Ravioli", Vance replied while eating.
"Let me try some of that", She grabbed some of Vance's pasta. "Ravioli is definitely far more better than this one"
"You always oppose my opinions", Vance chuckled.
"Can I have a minute, I just need to go to the bathroom", Elle stood up. "Yeah, No problem", Vance nodded.
The Cafeteria Hall was empty. It was just him and a very few people who serves the food.
Vance's attention was driven somewhere along the hallway. His face flustered when he saw a man in a hood, walked towards the other side of the cafeteria. He couldn't distinguish the appearance of the person from afar. But he could tell it wasn't a woman. He could see that it was a body of a man.
